Highlights of this project: This project can be used with any civilization. It provides choice between a traditional presentation method or an opportunity to use technology. It provides students with an opportunity to practice research and presentation skills. It includes note-taking sheets to help student record / organize information. There is a version that applies to any modern civilization as well! Great for teachers who are teaching a split class! The following package includes assignment sheets for Egypt, Indus Valley, Mesopotamia, Mayans, and Greeks. A You could also assign different groups different civilizations, have them present and then compare and contrast the different civilizations at the end! Same with present day countries!

Name: Economy Questions / Main Ideas: What role did trade and commerce have in this civilization? What were the major products for trade? How did geography affect their trade? What type of currency did they use? Was their economy based on a division of social classes? How?

Name: Religious Beliefs Questions / Main Ideas: What kind of religion or worship did they practice? Did they believe in many Gods or Just One? Who were the key figures in their religion? Was their religion and government combined? Did they believe in life after death? Other important Religious Belief information
