Journals appear in three groups: 1. Alphabetical list of journals indexed by Journal Citation Reports 2. Journals listed by Journal Citation Reports impact factor 3. Additional journals that are not indexed by Journal Citation Reports An accompanying guide categorizes journals by topic area. Key for the Journal Citation Reports (JCR) data JCR citation data is the industry standard source of data on citations. Data in this document are from JCR 2014, the most recent year available at the time of publication. Impact factor: Average number of times articles from the journal published in the past two years have been cited in the JCR year. 5-year impact factor: Average number of times articles from the journal published in the past five years have been cited in the JCR year. Immediacy index: How quickly articles in a journal are cited. Cited Half-Life: Median age of its items cited in the current JCR year. Eigenfactor : Rating of a journal s total importance based on the number and quality of incoming citations. Article Influence : Average influence of a journal's articles over the first five years after publication.
