Doctor of philosophy in Christian Leadership and Management Christian Leadership and Management (PLD.D 64 credit hours) The purpose Doctor of philosophy in Leadership and Management (Ph.D) program is to provide the candidate with an advanced competencies and biblical insights through the teaching, preparation and observation for those actively involved in vocational Christian ministry of education. Graduates of the (Ph.D) program will be prepared to: Demonstrate an advanced understanding and integration of ministry in relation to the biblical, leadership, academic, and business administration disciplines. Articulate and apply a comprehensive and critical philosophy of ministry. Demonstrate advanced competencies in the areas of critical thinking, Research and Writing, Biblical Theology, Biblical Communication, Administration/Education Leadership, and Great Commission Strategies. Plan, implement, and critically evaluate major undertakings in ministry toward the fulfillment of the Great Commission and the Great Commandment. Evaluate personal, spiritual, and professional development and design a plan for lifelong learning. Persons desiring to enroll with any of Cornerstone s schools as a student must complete an official application with the office of the Registrar. Application can be completed online with a credit card. Admission forms can be obtained from the forms download center at www.ccudl.com. Admissions forms can also be request from Admissions office via mail, telephone, e-mail. Printed forms are to be completed and mailed to the Admissions along with a photo of the applicant and the proper fees. Campus students have a set time to register but online and Distance students can register at any time during the year.

Each applicant will be individually evaluated. Since God s principles apply in all we do, each applicant must sign and acknowledge that Cornerstone offers biblically based curriculum, whether it s an accounting, psychology, or business program. This does not mean we force religions on the students nor do we teach strictly religions. this simply means, we teach with biblical principles. The applicants must also send his/her high school transcript or transcripts of all previous, colleges or seminaries work to the office of the Registrar. A transcript request form is included in the admission package or online. Please follow these Steps to Registration 1. Application Obtain an admission package as stated above. Complete all forms entirely as applicable and include a check, Money Order, or credit card information for the amount of $50.00 fee. Online Application Process their credit card online. Incomplete application will not be reviewed or process. No exception! 2. Documents: a. Submit your transcript (s) from previous colleges or seminaries b. Two letters of recommendation from non-family member (preferably from Pastors, teachers, professors, or any other with certain influence. c. Privacy right acknowledgement d. acknowledgement of statement of beliefs e. Payment agreement form f. An entrance Test may be required for certain students g. Letter of intent (graduate and post-graduate students only h. One clear Photo for ID purposes Evaluation After receiving the application along with other admissions required forms, including the nonrefundable application fee, copies of your documents; the applicant will be evaluated for admission. Initial Fees If the request for admission is accepted, the applicant will be required to make full payment for a year or per program. In the event the applicant is unable to make the full payment, a payment plan can be established pay the Initial Fees, in the total amount of 15% in US$ of your selected program tuition, at our Admissions Office or online, our using any of the alternative ways we have for you to pay. If the request for admission is accepted, the applicant will be schedule for an orientation. and develop an educational plan and advisement for you to select the classes you will need. We will also orient you about the original documents needed and the transcripts you have to order official colleges or high school to send us. We will answer any question you may have. Initial Fees Pay the Initial Fees, in the total amount of 15% in US$ of your selected program tuition, at our Admissions Office or online, our using any of the alternative ways we have for you to pay.

Agreement With the result of the evaluation process, we will be able to discuss and establish, together, the best financial alternative for you to pay. Then, we will issue the documents for you to sign, as the final agreement between you and the University. Class Enrollment Payments Any time you have to make any payment to Cornerstone Christian University, you can do it in person, by mail, or authorizing the debit in your major international credit card. In Person You can pay in cash, personal check, money order, or Credit Card at our Admissions Office. The Admissions Office is located at our headquarters facility, 6630 N. By Mail You can pay in personal check or money order, sending the payment by mail to our Admissions Office listed above. The check or money order must be payable in the United States, in US Dollars, to Cornerstone Christian University, Inc. The Admissions Office is located at our headquarters facility, 6630 N. By Credit Card You can authorize the debit from your national or international American Express, Visa, Master Card, or Discover international credit or debit card, using this Online Registration Process to send an Online payment or complete and a credit Authorization Form, authorizing CCU to charge your credit card on a specific date of each month. This is the Online Registration Process by which you can send a Class Enrollment Form in order to enroll in a Classroom Course of Cornerstone Christian University. For us to accept your enrollment, it is required that you have already been accepted as our Student and you already have a Student Number. You understand that for this enrollment to be accepted you have to pay the corresponding Tuition at our Admissions Office or online, until at least one week before the beginning of the first session of the course. PHL824 History of Christian Thought (4) This course exposes the student to the Judaic and Hellenistic origins of existentialism. ETC834 Christian Ethics (4) This course pprovides key principles for the study of Christian ethics, this volume examines "moral" character and values in light of the scriptures, and explores the content of Old Testament ethics and its meaning to believers today. BLD-854 Laws of Leadership (4) The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership: Follow Them and People Will Follow You This course takes the student further to a more comprehensible perspective and personal appreciation of the obligations facing those who perform leadership roles in the church and in other organizations. This course gives clear direction to those becoming the leaders of tomorrow. BUS-864 Leadership Handbook of Management and Administration (4) This course covers the full spectrum of ministry practice. Readers will learn about perennial topics such as time management, negotiating the terms of a call, handling crisis and conflict, hiring and managing staff, conducting special fund drives, spending church money, and dealing with tax and law considerations. BUS-874 Management Essentials for Christian Ministries (3 semester hours) (4) This course, Management Essentials for Christian Ministries is a thorough examination of management principles for Christian ministries including churches, enominations, and parachurch organizations. Contributors represent a diverse denominational cross section. BUS-884 Advertising (4) Concepts and practices of advertising and the role of advertising in the marketing mix. Relationship between media characteristics and various kinds of goods and services andtheir respective markets will be studied. PHL894 Philosophical Foundations for a Christian Worldview (4) Combined with biblical exegesis and biblical theology, philosophy is the most importantfield-- historically and conceptually--for developing a Christian worldview. As we make clear in the text, systematic theology itself, as well as attempts to integrate one's field with biblicalteaching, essentially depends on philosophy being done with excellence. PHD893 Practicum Student design curriculum as practicum (6) Doctoral students are required to write to full curriculum as part of their practicum. Curriculums include course outline, syllabus, and a final examination which comprises of questions and answer. Id the student is in a teaching capacity, a video or DVD of the actual class can be sent in lieu of the curriculum. Normally, this assignment carries no credit hours. PHF900 Dissertation Research or Research Project of 250 pages (0) This final course culminates the entire course of studies and research required by this program. Students are allowed to choose from a dissertation or a project, depending of their interest. This is a very involved endeavor and will require an undivided attention. The research project comprises two part a quantitative and a qualitative research. Both parts must demonstrate doctorate level quality of work. Student allowed choosing their own research topic and getting it approved by the Dissertation Review Board. Upon the approval of the research topic, a proposalcontaining the first three chapters, table of content and partial bibliography must be submitted to The Dissertation Review Board. A fee of Seven hundred fifty ($750.00) dollars must be submitted with the proposal. Proposal will not be reviewed without this fee.

The Review Board will review the research proposal. The board will either approve it, approve it with recommendations, or denied it. If the dissertation is denied, a separate fee will be required for revisions. Students are solely responsible to present the research project as required the first time to avoid any denial proposal and extra fee. Upon the final review and grading of the final research project, the student will submit two bound copies to the school. One will be graded, endorse, and return to the student and one copy will remain the property of the school. Cost per credit is $348.00 Scholarship is available to those who qualified.
