FALL 2017 INTERNATIONAL UNDERGRADUATE ORIENTATION Welcome to the University of Arkansas International Undergraduate Students Orientation Times and locations for events are subject to change and are not listed in this schedule. All students must complete their Orientation Checklist on isslink.uark.edu in order to receive their personalized schedule with exact times and locations. IMPORTANT NOTES Mandatory Sessions These are mandatory for all international graduate students. Please make sure you attend all events listed below: Immigration Basics (check YOUR schedule on isslink for date and time) International Undergraduate Students Orientation Tuesday, August 15 th Academic Advising Wednesday, August 16 th Immigration Basics Registration is strictly required. You are registered for Immigration Basics once you completed isslink checklist. You MUST attend one session of Immigration Basics otherwise you cannot register for classes. Immigration Basics is mandatory for all international students on F1 and J1 status. o Please bring your passport, visa, I 20/DS2019 and I 94 (if you entered the U.S. before May 2013). o Also, after each Immigration Basics session, our mentors will escort you to the Health Center for you to take the TB test and to other offices for different necessary tasks that you need to take care of. o Please have your schedule free after the Immigration Basics session.
