Students are to wear soft-soled shoes and socks, and bring a water bottle. More information on this fun-filled morning is attached. Parents are invited to attend. Volleyball Game (Staff vs. Grade 8 Students), 2:00 pm (gym) Parents are invited to attend. Students are to be packed up and ready for dismissal prior to walking over to the gymnasium for the volleyball game; all items stay in the classroom. Friday, February 5, 2016 Student Dismissal: 2:00 pm Liturgy (5), 10:30 am (church) - Catholic Schools Week Awards will be distributed after the Liturgy. Parents are invited to attend this event. School Picnic, 12:00 noon - Families are invited to join their children on our campus for a picnic lunch. Lunch, including a drink, is to be brought from home or lunch may be purchased from The Mustang Club for a cost of $5.00 per person. Attached is an order form to order lunch from the Mustang Club. Jump for Jesus is here again! Jump for Jesus will be held on Thursday February 4, 2016 from 9:30 to 11:00 am at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School for students in kindergarten through grade 5. We invite you to grab a jump rope and help your child prepare for this event (especially kindergarten parents). We work with the students in PE but extra practice helps make them great! Jump roping is also a good and healthy way to spend time with your children; getting the whole family involved. Schedule for the Day (February 4th) Parent volunteers sign in at 8:00 am. Jump Roping events run from 9:30-10:50 am. Overall challenge and awards take place from 10:50 11:00 am. Students return to their classroom at 11:00 am. Reminders for the day of this event (February 4th) Dress Code: College or sports team shirt with PE shorts and crazy hair. Girls should have their hair in a ponytail, braid, pig tails, or any other style that keeps their hair off of their neck and out of their face. Please send a water bottle to school with your child with his/her name on the water bottle. Your child may bring his/her own jump rope to school. If your child does not have a jump rope, we will supply one. This day is sure to be a fun experience for your child. St. Mary Magdalen National Junior Honor Society Invites All Families to POWDER PUFF Powder Puff is an annual flag football game at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School between Grade 7 and Grade 8 girls. The 7 th and 8 th grade boys have a tug-a-war competition during half-time. This event is a community builder used to kick off Catholic Schools Week. WHEN: Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 1:30 pm WHERE: St. Mary Magdalen Soccer Field COST OF ADMISSION: $2.00 for children - $3.00 for adults Refreshments will be sold at the game. All proceeds will be donated to Breast Cancer Research. NJHS members will collect donations daily (excluding Mondays) in the classrooms during homeroom. Sponsored by the National Junior Honor Society.
