A Common Goal of Student Success One of the largest colleges at Cleveland State, the College of Sciences and Health Professions is home to some of the University s most popular majors such as Psychology and Health Sciences. As a thriving community of scholars, the College of Sciences and Health Professions offers many activities and services outside of the classroom and laboratory through which you can further explore your areas of interest, connect with faculty, and build networks with fellow students. From displaying your research at the annual Research Day to competing for scholarships, the College of Sciences and Health Professions offers you the opportunity to shine. And, with our own College of Sciences and Health Professions Advising Center, tutoring services and computer labs, you will have all of the resources you need for success. In addition, the College of Sciences and Health Professions offers a variety of 4+1 programs that allow students to complete a bachelor s and a master s degree in just five years instead of six. These innovative programs provide a great way to get a head start on your career and are an ideal option for Honors students and other high-achieving students. Engaging Research Opportunities Unusual for a university, research opportunities abound for Cleveland State undergraduate students. At Cleveland State, we call this engaged learning. You will be able to conduct groundbreaking research alongside professors who hold prestigious awards from the National Institutes of Health, March of Dimes, National Science Foundation and many other prominent organizations. The University s Summer Research program encourages undergraduate students to investigate new ideas that serve as a foundation for future efforts.
