CAT A SAS Responsibility 1. Students will need to apply individually to foreign institutions following consultations with Programme Leaders or Heads of Divisions. Before students make course selection, they are advised to consult the Programme Leader for courses offered in the host institution that can have the credit-units transferred to the programme of study. Students can also consult the Head of the Division if the course to be exempted is about General Education. 2. Students still have to pay the tuition fee to CCCU in accordance to its payment schedule for the credit units earned from the host institution and transferred to their programme of studies at CCCU. 3. Students are responsible for arranging air flight and accommodation with the host institution. 4. Students are responsible for their own study, daily living, and safety for the duration of the study period. 5. Students may join other trips organized by the host institution but not directly connected with the study course at their own expense (except for trips/visits that are required as part of a course being studied). 10
CAT A SAS Responsibility 6. Students may stay longer in the city or country at their own expense after the term or semester has ended but before the CCCU semester starts (except as recommended as part of orientation to the host intuition). 7. Students are responsible for applying for a transcript from the host institution to certify his/her completion of study and paying the relevant costs. 8. Students will present the flight tickets and receipts of accommodation, transportation, and study-related expenses (excluding meals) to CCCU for reimbursement purpose. CCCU will reimburse an amount up to a maximum of $25,000. 9. Students have to report to the Division his/her completion of study and furnish supporting evidence (e.g. transcripts) as proof. 10. Students are required to submit to their respective Programme Leader a 200-word reflection summary of their Study Abroad experiences within 4 weeks after they return to Hong Kong. 11. CCCU students are covered by the Group Personal Accident Insurance. For better coverage, students are advised to take out additional insurance at their own expense. Travel insurance is not subsidised by the scheme. 11

Important Points Successful candidates should make sure their VISA documents are ready and valid before the departure date. Students are required to pay back the financial subsidy if: Fail to achieve the CGPA or English requirement, Withdraw from the CCCU AD programme. For the application of credit transfer, satisfactory results must be achieved for courses taken in the summer programme.
