You do not need to bring your current BLS card or copy of current BLS card to the Skills session. NOTE: There is NO need to print and bring the Certificate of Completion to class or your current card if you are attending a hands-on Skills check-off session at OHSU. However, if you are going to Cascade Training Center and will be completing the hands-on Skills check-off session for BLS, or following PALS, PEARS, or ACLS you WILL need to print and take the Certificate of Completion as well as take your current BLS card. If you need to reschedule: If you are unable to make the Skills session, you MUST withdraw and choose another date prior to your card expiration date. Learners can only register for one session at a time.
Page 5 You are still required to take your new ecard back to your area and show it to the person that updates your expiration date in Oracle. They must see the actual card, not a copy; the ecards can be saved as a PDF and printed for forwarded in an email. The actual card is the Primary Source Verification as defined by the Regulatory Requirements. This is the only way that the Oracle system is updated. NOTE: If you do not receive notifications from Oracle Production your certification is not tracked in Oracle, please notify Clinical Education Services 90 days prior to your expiration date so we can assign a curriculum to you.
