Associate Membership Program About Duchesne Duchesne College was founded in 1937 to provide a safe and nurturing home for young, Catholic women from rural and regional Queensland, embarking on their university studies in Brisbane. The College began with only four students and has grown to 212 students, primarily undergraduates. It is a strong and vibrant community, providing many opportunities for young women to develop and flourish academically, socially and spiritually. www.duchesne.uq.edu.au About the Program Duchesne College Associate Members live outside the College but can call Duchesne home while at university and enjoy nearly all the benefits of College life. Associate Members begin their university experience like every other first year student or fresher. During Orientation Week or O Week Associates live in for the entire week, becoming fully immersed in the culture and life at Duchesne. The Program is also open to past residents of Duchesne who are still attending University as a full time student.
