CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION VISIT OF A SPORTS-PERSON While a degree of friendly competition among staff members can be healthy, an organization grows most when everyone works together as a team. The organization should recognize and appreciate the value of teamwork, but getting the entire staff to come together and work towards a common goal is sometimes easier said than done. There is no I in teamwork. Getting to know the strengths and weaknesses of each employee, tasks, duties and responsibilitiess can be assigned. To get the desired result, emphasis should be on the value of collaboration, mutual support and team cohesion. There may not be an I in teamwork, but there is most certainly a WE in a well-balanced team. Successful teamwork balances employees' skills with the needs of the organization, resulting in a winning environment for every member. Working in teams allows the staff more opportunities to release their creative ideas and offers a greater sense of belonging. Orchids strongly believes in team- building and teamwork. It is evident across all levels.
