Indirectly, it inculcates a habit to systematically explore the unexplored aspects of the subject area of interest among the faculty members. A research contributes significantly in updating the knowledge with new insight. Within this context this faculty development programme is designed to understand the techniques and latest trend in research. OBJECTIVES: To? sensitize the faculty members about the needs of research in education and teaching-learning process.? To help the participants to develop the insights for identifying the research problems.? To provide extensive exposures to different aspects of research methodologies.? To enhance the skills of the participants to use statistical techniques in research.? To understand the approaches of research paper development for high impact journals. CONTENTS: With the above stated objectives, an extensive coverage will be provided in this faculty development program on following aspects:? Basics of Research? Questionnaire Design? Basic Statistical Tools? Factor Analysis? Cluster Analysis? Regression Analysis? Parametric & Non- Parametric Tests? Structural Equation Modeling PEDAGOGY: The sessions of this programme shall be conducted by the team of eminent academicians possessing in-depth knowledge in the area of research methods and statistics. It will consist of a series of lectures and interactive sessions. A case analysis session is also scheduled so that the participants can apply the research techniques in different situations. WHO CAN ATTEND? This programme is especially designed for faculty members, who are teaching Management courses in universities and institutes. The faculty members of other courses who are interested to enhance research skills can also join this programme. Preference would be given to full time faculty members. Institutional sponsorship is essential but it can be relaxed in exceptional cases. DURATION: nd th It is a five days programme scheduled from 02 to 06 February, 2016. It will be conducted in different sessions from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY & DATA ANALYSIS FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME -2016 CERTIFICATION: of SRMS college of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly will award the 'Certificate of participation to each participant after completion of the programme. STAY ARRANGEMENT: The institute will provide free accommodation to the participants of this programme on sharing basis. The allotment of the accommodation will be based on first come basis and depends on the availability.
