Lunch will be held on the Main Auditorium stage followed by tours of this exciting educational facility. MJC has made arrangements for Rotary members to park for free in the Emmanuel Lutheran Church lot across the street at the corner of College and Stoddard Avenues. The Performing & Media Arts Center underwent a $33 million expansion and renovation, with Measure E Bond money paying for $19,617.00 and the balance of funding coming through the State Chancellor s Office. The architect was Grothe and Smith Architect, with Dennis Smith as the project architect, and it was completed by Acme Construction Company. The 54,527 square foot facility houses the Main Auditorium with new seating, expanded control room with state-of-the art sound and lighting equipment, expanded lobby and restrooms, a new box office and snack bar. It also houses a new Dance Studio, Radio- Television-Film Recording Studio, Costume Studio, actors dressing rooms, a lecture classroom and space for set construction and storage, as well as the renovated Little Theatre and new division and faculty offices. Make sure you have signed up so we know how many lunches to order! That s an accomplishment! There was more to celebrate during Boasts, Roasts, and Toasts. Scott Monday is a proud father, his daughter is 3 weeks old Mark Sconyers is a new Grandpa. Cheryl Martin toasted Bob Hagopian, Carolyn Crown, Ray Kablanow and Vicki Bauman for all their hard work on the Senior Stride Larry Hostetler toasted Garrad and Dallas Marsh for their recent community award and recognition Mike Gorrasi boasted and celebrated the record attendance at a recent Nuts game and toasted Rotarians who recently played golf in the tournament sponsored by the United Way Rapunzel Amador Lewis toasted her parents
