Semester at SDSU General Courses Students earn university credit in one or two semesters while taking classes with American students at SDSU in non-business departments. HIGHLIGHTS SDSU Courses Students can experience SDSU courses with American university students in fields such as art, engineering, communication, and science. Official Transcript Earned credits are listed on an official SDSU transcript. Variety of Classes SDSU offers more than 3,000 class sections each semester in more than 80 different academic fields. SDSU Courses Through this program, students enroll in 12 undergraduate units or nine graduate units of SDSU courses. Most classes are three units. Students who wish to take courses in the College of Business Administration (CBA) which includes accounting, business administration, finance, management, marketing, and management information systems should apply for the Semester at SDSU Business Courses program (see next page). Semester at SDSU Business Courses Students earn university credit in one or two semesters while taking SDSU business classes. Students are also eligible to take classes in non-business majors. Students choose between the undergraduate and graduate programs. HIGHLIGHTS Business Courses Students in the business program can enroll in courses in the College of Business Administration, including accounting, business administration, finance, management, marketing, and management information systems. General Courses Students can take classes in more than 80 different academic fields such as art, engineering, communication, science, etc. Special Sessions Students enroll in a predetermined number of Special Session business classes (not integrated with American students) taught by SDSU faculty. Business classes with American students may be available depending on space. Official Transcript Earned credits are listed on an official SDSU transcript. SDSU Courses Through this program, students enroll in 12 undergraduate units or nine graduate units of SDSU business and non-business courses. Most classes are three units. Undergraduate Business Courses This program is for students who are currently in a business-related bachelor s degree program and would like to enroll in undergraduatelevel courses. Graduate Business Courses This program is designed for students who are currently in a business-related master s degree program and would like to enroll in graduate-level courses. Semester at SDSU Certificates Semester at SDSU Certificates are available for students who would like to receive a certificate in a specialized area of interest. Students can earn a certificate in addition to receiving an official SDSU transcript with transferable credits. BUSINESS CERTIFICATE (1 or 2 semesters) Through this program, students expand their business knowledge by enrolling in SDSU College of Business Administration courses. PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS Choose four SDSU business courses per semester. Business classes are taught by SDSU faculty. Some business classes with American students may be available depending on space. BUSINESS ENGINEERING CERTIFICATE (1 or 2 semesters) This certificate provides students with specialized knowledge in the areas of business and engineering. PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS Students take courses in both business and engineering. Students have the opportunity to enhance their business knowledge and technical skills through topics of their interest while also gaining an in-depth understanding of how business and engineering fit together. HOSPITALITY, TOURISM, AND RECREATION MANAGEMENT (HTM) CERTIFICATE (1 or 2 semesters) Designed for those planning a career in the hospitality and tourism industry, this program provides a strong business foundation and produces new leaders in the field. PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS Courses in American business and hospitality practices. Students can attend business meetings, conventions, and event planning sessions. Customized certificates in areas of interest are available. LIVE AND STUDY AMONG 30,000+ AMERICAN STUDENTS SUSTAINABLE TOURISM MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATE (1 or 2 semesters) This program prepares students to succeed in one of the world s fastest growing industries, which is committed to making only a positive impact on the environtment, society, and economy. PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS Prepares new leaders in the ever-growing field of tourism. Students examine the economic, environmental, and social impact of the hospitality and tourism industry.

Recreation Center From swimming to free weights, yoga and rock climbing, it s all included at the SDSU recreation center. Sports Teams Join an intramural team and play against other teams. Sports include soccer, basketball, tennis, volleyball, and more. HOUSING Off-Campus Private Housing Our staff assists students in finding the perfect housing option. Many students live in private houses and apartments within easy walking distance of campus. Some students choose to live by the beach. On-Campus Dormitory or Apartment On-campus housing is available at all times of the year. Homestay The ALI coordinates and manages the homestay program with over 250 families. All locations are within 30 minutes of campus by public transportation. STAFF SUPPORT Arrival Airport pickup service is available for students at the San Diego International Airport. Orientation Students receive useful information about their ALI program at orientation.
