COURSE FEES Payment required for accepting the offer: Option 1 (no accommodation): AU$ 2,000 (deposit). This deposit is a tuition pre- payment, credited towards first term tuition fees Option 2 (with BMIHMS at Torrens accommodation): AU$ 3,200 (deposit). Accommodation is subject to availability. The cost is $335 per week. This accommodation is only 15 minutes walk from Sydney campus and is available in three and four single bedrooms apartments, with crockery and cutlery supplied, as well as bed linen, TV, internet access, kitchenette and coin- operated laundry facilities. Students who opt for finding own accommodation off- campus are not required to pay the residential fees and accommodation bond. TERMS AND CONDITIONS Please read before you sign the Acceptance of Offer. 1. Cancellations 1.1. Any false or misleading documentation found relating to a students application could result in the application becoming invalid. 1.2. If a student fails to meet the academic requirements, BMIHMS at Torrens has the right to withdraw or amend the student enrolment according to BMIHMS at Torrens Policies and Procedures. 1.3. Any student whose account remains outstanding at the start of term will be advised in writing of the consequences of non- payment and could result in the cancellation of their enrolment. 1.4. BMIHMS at Torrens can cancel, defer or temporarily suspend the enrolment of the student on the grounds of: Compassionate or compelling circumstances (for a maximum of six (6) months); or Misbehaviour by the student. 1.5. If a student withdraws from a course they may be entitled to receive an award appropriate to the level of the course successfully completed. At the time of withdrawal, students must apply for a change of program candidature and to graduate with the appropriate award. A $500 change of program candidature fee will apply. 2. Refunds 2.1. Where a domestic student withdraws from a course by the published census date, fees will be reversed in full. Students withdrawing from a course after the published census date will incur the full cost of tuition fees for that term. 2.2. A student who wishes to defer/suspend their course of study after census date due to compassionate or compelling circumstances, will be eligible to have their tuition fees transferred to the next applicable term. If the student does not return from deferral/suspension to recommence the course within the agreed timeframe the student will forfeit the full term of tuition fees. 2.3. A student who is dismissed after the census date from the School due to misconduct or unsatisfactory academic performance, shall not be eligible for a refund. 2.4. A student whose studies were deferred/suspended for whatever reason will have the remainder of their tuition fees transferred to the next application term. Should a student subsequently withdraw from the program after census date and not resume their studies as scheduled, the remainder of their transferred fees will be forfeited in full. 2.5. If a prospective student attends BMIHMS at Torrens Career Focus Day (CFD) programs, a discount of one CFD program will be applied to their first year fees if they enrol with the School. 2.6. Provider default. In the event that: BMIHMS at Torrens does not start the course on the agreed starting date; or the course ceases to be provided by BMIHMS at Torrens at any time after it starts but before it is completed; or the course is not provided in full to the student because a sanction has been imposed on BMIHMS at Torrens under Part 6 of the ESOS Act 2000; and the student has not withdrawn before the day of default by BMIHMS at Torrens; BMIHMS at Torrens will: a. ensure all tuition fees paid by the student are fully refunded or the proportion of the tuition fees (unspent tuition fees) received by BMIHMS at Torrens that represents that part of the course that will not be delivered are refunded. The unspent tuition fee refund will be calculated in accordance with the methods specified in the ESOS Act and will be paid within two weeks after the default day; or b. will arrange for the student to be offered a place in an alternative course(s) delivered by a CRICOS registered provider at BMIHMS at Torrens expense; or c. arrange for its Tuition Assurance Scheme (Tuition Protection Service tps.gov.au for International Students; TAFE Directors Australia http://www.tda.edu.au for Domestic Students) to promptly offer affected student/s a place in suitable alternative course(s) or a refund of unspent tuition fees. If the student accepts the offer of placement in a suitable alternative course(s), in writing, BMIHMS at Torrens is relieved of its liability to provide a refund to the student. 2.7. Students wishing to apply for a refund need to apply in writing using the Refund Form. When approved refunds will be paid to the student within four (4) weeks after receipt of a written claim from the student. 3. Student Privacy The information on student application can be given to Australian Government authorities or other designated authorities and, if relevant, the Tuition Protection Scheme. This information may include personal and contact details, course enrolment details and changes, and the circumstance of any suspected breach of a student visa condition. 4

Applications must be submitted to the Manager, Admissions prior to course commencement, or to Senior Manager Student Services if the course has commenced. Applications for Advanced Standing should be lodged no later than end of week 2 of the first term. No additional advanced standing will be granted after this date. 4.2. Certified copies of all relevant original documentation must be supplied at the time of the application. If the application relates to study at a different institution, an original transcript of results, relevant unit guides and course structure must be provided. If the documentation is not in English, certified translations must be supplied. 4.3. Advanced Standing could affect the study load and therefore, the student s eligibility for Centrelink benefits. If the student is in receipt of Centrelink payments, the student must notify Centrelink of any changes to the study load as a result of a successful application for Advanced Standing. 5. Course fees 5.1. Fee amounts quoted are correct at the time this letter is produced. BMIHMS at Torrens reserves the right to vary fees at any time. 5.2. Additional fees apply for approved re- assessment and for students who require extra terms to complete their course. 6. Accommodation Students can choose to stay, depending on availability, in shared apartments located only 15 minutes from the Sydney campus. These 3 and 4 single- size bedroom apartments are equipped with crockery and cutlery, as well as bed linen, television, Internet access, kitchenette and coin- operated laundry facility. Students can also choose to find, with the help of our Student Coordinator, their own accommodation in or around Sydney with many options available. 7. Acceptance of Offer If you would like to accept this offer and secure your place please return the signed Acceptance of Offer and proof of deposit payment within 28 days of the date of this offer. Please note that conditions of this offer are subject to change and are not guaranteed if your acceptance is not received within 28 days of issuance of this offer.
