Secondary News We had yet again another action packed week in Secondary. On Monday, we had Careers Day, with guest speakers leading workshops for our KS4 and 5 students. The day kicked off with an Assembly, where Ms Klátyik, alumni and current students presented to Secondary on careers and career paths. Then, KS3 went back to class and KS4 and 5 joined the workshop leaders. Topics included MUN and Personal Branding, and many other interesting, career related speeches. Hopefully, our guests inspired our older students to think more deeply about their future careers. This week marked the end of Movember, with 51.000 HUF raised for charity. True to his promise, Mr Mallord dyed his tache green and purple, and many other staff members followed his example. On Thursday, Year 9 went on a trip to Vienna and visited the Schönbrunn Castle and the Christmas Market escorted by Ms Balanyi, Ms Erdélyi and Ms Pascual. The visit was also an opportunity to widen their linguistic horizon by taking part in MFL activities. Wishing you all a restful week end! Dear Britannica Family, PSA News Season's Greetings to all of you and thanks to the Cookie Friday makers and sellers for their efforts on today's Cookie Friday. I know the children enjoy and look forward to each and every Cookie Friday! Brilliant Britannica (BB) will soon be upon us (15 Dec). We have solidified the vendor base and should have 14 vendors that will present their items for sale in the gym during the afternoon of BB. Also, both primary and secondary classes are busy preparing their items which will be for sale in the hallways and the gym (year 5 & 6) during BB. Please mark your calendars and come support our school as the children raise funds to support a local charity. The school will be disseminating final details and timings for the event in the near future. Enjoy the weekend and snow!
