The School: Founded in 1887, Belvoir Christian Academy is a ministry of First Lutheran Church and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for students in preschool through grade eight. Belvoir Christian Academy is recognized in the community as having high academic standards, with graduates being accepted to a variety of distinguished high schools. In 2014, BCA added a Christian Children s Center, caring for children from six weeks of age through two years of age. Belvoir Christian Academy enrolls students from eight municipalities in Tennessee and north Georgia. Accreditation: BCA is accredited by AdvancED (formerly SACS, The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools), and also by National Lutheran Schools Accreditation. The successful applicant will: Be an active member of a Christian church, a follower of Jesus Christ; Have a Master s degree; Have at least 3 years experience as an educational administrator, and; Demonstrate a proven record of growing a school through enrollment and fundraising initiatives.
