BOX 74543 FORT BRAGG NC 28307-4543 2015-2016 HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP INSTRUCTIONS Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is an organization committed to public service. The Fort Bragg Area Alumnae Chapter is continuing that commitment. One of our objectives is to raise awareness regarding the importance of higher education in our local communities. Therefore, we are proud to offer our scholarship to eligible high school seniors. Scholarship awards are based on community service, extracurricular activities and essay responses. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA Graduating senior from a high school in Cumberland or Harnett Counties planning to attend either a 2 or 4 year accredited university/college fall 2016. 3.0 minimum GPA (unweighted) on a 4.0 scale at the time of submission. Military ID holder or resident of either Spring Lake or Hope Mills (military status and address subject to verification by the school). The Scholarship Application is available at www.fortbraggdeltas.com. Eligible students should download and complete all sections of the application. The scholarship recognition program will be held at the Chapter s annual Big Hat Brunch. Recipients are expected to attend or send a family representative to the recognition program.
