Mr. Singley started the day in his office making the morning announcements to the classrooms. OUR PRINCIPALS INTERACTED WITH THE STUDENTS Each morning Mr. Carson would stand out on the blacktop with his cup of coffee to watch the boys and girls play before the morning bell rang. Mrs. Grider welcomed the students as they entered the school for another day at T.J. Lee. Mrs. Griffith stood outside with her assistant principals Gayle Johnson and LaNell Wiley in front of the school.

CELEBRATING RETIREMENT Assistant Principal Jan Crowley helped celebrate Mr. Carson s retirement in May 1991. CELEBRATIONS! DO YOU RECOGNIZE THESE PRINCIPALS? FAVORITE STORYBOOK CHARACTERS Here is Mrs. Grider with Assistant Principals Lori Hunt and Michelle McAdams and Special Education Teacher Sharon Perkins. Looks like she is Queen for the Day! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Mr. Singley is given a surprise birthday cake!

HERE S WHERE WE CAN FIND THE PRINCIPAL Mr. Singley started the day in his office making the morning announcements on the intercom to the classrooms. (1970s) TIMES: THEY ARE A CHANGIN Mrs. Grider made a morning announcement on the school s KPAWS TV Set, Good morning, boys and girls! (2003) Mrs. Griffith, in her office, greeted students and faculty who come to see her. (from the 1980s) Mr. Murray, in the center at the back, posed for a photograph with Troy Bratcher s sixth grade students. (from the 1970s)

DO YOU REMEMBER MOMENTS LIKE THESE IN OUR SCHOOL? Mr. Singley in his office ready to visit with whoever walked in his door. Oh yes! the days of the Pig Parade! Here is Mrs. Grider with Assistant Principals Ron Jennings and Michelle McAdams as well as Librarian Heather Lamb ready for the parade! Mrs. Grider learned that kissing the pig comes with the job!

Mr. Carson was asked to pitch the first ball at the T.J. Lee Anniversary annual softball game on May 29, 2009. With him is Aaron McAdams, Assistant Principal in 2009. LET S PLAY BALL! Mr. Singley took a break during the annual softball game between the Teachers & the Fifth Graders in May, 1977.

Mrs. Naron is full of energy! Here she is with teachers in a Talent Show singing We Are Family! and with other teachers walking the halls of T.J. Lee. WE ARE FAMILY HERE AT T.J. LEE Making T.J. Lee a Family Affair are both former T.J. Lee Assistant Principals Michelle McAdams and her husband Aaron with their son Marshall. Former Mayor Morris Parrish presents Principal Mrs. Grider with a lion sculpture - T.J. Lee s school mascot.

Mrs. Coronado with Assistant Principals Aaron McAdams and Linda Torres-Rangel encouraged students with pep talks! EXCELLENCE BRINGS ABOUT SUCCESSES! T.J. Lee Principals encouraged students to strive to be their very best! Mr. Carson and Mrs. Crowley presented the SARAH CAHILL GOOD CITIZENSHIP AWARD to students who exemplified what it is to be a Good Citizen!
