Mr. Singley started the day in his office making the morning announcements to the classrooms. OUR PRINCIPALS INTERACTED WITH THE STUDENTS Each morning Mr. Carson would stand out on the blacktop with his cup of coffee to watch the boys and girls play before the morning bell rang. Mrs. Grider welcomed the students as they entered the school for another day at T.J. Lee. Mrs. Griffith stood outside with her assistant principals Gayle Johnson and LaNell Wiley in front of the school.
CELEBRATING RETIREMENT Assistant Principal Jan Crowley helped celebrate Mr. Carson s retirement in May 1991. CELEBRATIONS! DO YOU RECOGNIZE THESE PRINCIPALS? Here is Mrs. Grider with Assistant Principals Ron Jennings and Michelle McAdams as well as Librarian Heather Lamb ready for the parade! Mrs. Grider learned that kissing the pig comes with the job!
Mr. Carson was asked to pitch the first ball at the T.J. Lee Anniversary annual softball game on May 29, 2009. With him is Aaron McAdams, Assistant Principal in 2009. LET S PLAY BALL! Mr. Singley took a break during the annual softball game between the Teachers & the Fifth Graders in May, 1977.
