PREFACE This document is an update of factual information which is designed to assist administrators, faculty, staff, and other College constituents with statistical references about the institution. The data collected and reported through this report are considered the official data for the College. As with any statistical data, the data contained in the Enrollment Trend Data Report are a snapshot of a single point in time. Unless otherwise noted, the enrollment data are based on the fourteenth day after enrollment, and other data are based on the fiscal year July 1, 2016 - June 30, 2017, as these are the official reporting dates for the Integrated Postsecondary Educational Data System (IPEDS). HIGHLIGHTS-Fall 2017 1,420 students enrolled; 760 (54%) male and 660 (46%) female. Tennessee students comprise 799 (56.3%) of the total enrollment. Out-of-state students comprise 618 (43.5%) of the total enrollment. International students (on college visa) comprise 3 (.2% of the total enrollment. 395 students (28%) reside off campus. 1,025 students (72%) reside in campus housing. 428 First-Time Freshman (30%), 148 Transfer or Readmit Students (10%), 844 Returning Students (60%) form the student body.
