Please see the attached timetable. Where subjects have elected not to stage formal exams during this period, assessments will be undertaken in class. The majority of exams will be taken in the, although some will be sat in specialist areas. Alternative rooms have been allocated to those with Access Arrangements and these students will be collected from the Canteen at the start of each exam. Inevitably, the normal curriculum will be disrupted during the exam period. However, students are expected to return to lessons immediately after each exam. We would be grateful if you could ensure students come fully equipped for their examinations with the following equipment: black pen, pencil, eraser, ruler, protractor, compasses and calculator (where appropriate). Students should now be planning their revision for these exams. Specific subject revision guidance is being sent home with this letter. A bespoke schedule of after school enhancement sessions has been sent home for each Year 11 student. The results of the exams will be reported to students and parents during the Spring Term. They will also provide crucial information to teachers enabling them to better support students in their final preparations for GCSE examinations. Please do not hesitate to contact the school should you have any further enquiries. Yours sincerely, Steve Gibbs Deputy Head Teacher
