Admission to the 3-year degree course (B.A./B.Sc.), 2017 Admission 2017 shall be conducted online. All dates given here are tentative and subject to changes. Applicants are instructed to check this space regularly for any updates Admission forms for the session 2017-2018 will be available from 26.5.17(12.00 noon) to 7.6.17 (8.30pm) On websites www.ladybrabourneadmissions.com www.collegeadmission.in All information regarding admission forms and online submission shall be available on either of these pages and under the 'Notice Board' link Students from all boards such as ISC, CBSE, West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education and different boards of other states in India are eligible for admission to this college. Overseas students with their fully published results are also welcome. Applicants are required to deposit application fees at any core banking branch of Indian Bank through cash only on presentation of challan (Bank copy) which can be downloaded after submitting forms online. The Indian Bank challan will be valid for 10 days including the date of submission. Candidates are instructed to pay within 10days of submission of forms or 08.06.2017 whichever is earlier. Please refer to the table below for more clarification. However candidates may submit their application fees online also. For detailed information regarding submission of application forms and payment of fees, refer to the next page. Banks won t receive any fees after 4 pm of 9.6.2017.

Kindly note that the Indian Bank Challan Generation Server will not be available between 8.45 PM to next day morning 8.30 AM every day. Hence, kindly do not make any applications during this period. Any attempt to apply during this period will not be entertained by the College. Candidates who are paying their application fees online can apply 24x7. Students of Jammu and Kashmir are requested to contact the college. Candidates must take a printout of the application form and payment challan generated after successful online submission of the forms and produce the same only at the time of admission. The price of each form is Rs. 150/- only. The candidates do not have to submit the college copy of the bank challan or payment receipt to the college immediately after online submission of the form. They are instructed to keep the challan with themselves and submit it at the college only at the time of admission and not prior to that.

Forms will not be considered valid unless payment is made. For hostel accommodation candidates are required to check the hostel option on each form. No further application for hostel will be entertained once the form has been submitted online. Admission is conducted strictly on the basis of merit. There will be an admission test for Microbiology Honours, English Honours,and Bengali Honours. Dates of admission tests : English: 10/6/2017( 11.00am-12.30pm)(Regarding instructions to candidates appearing for English admission test a special notice will be published on a later date) Microbiology- 12/6/2017 (2.00pm- 3.00pm) Date of Admission Test Bengali -12/6/2017 (12 noon-1.30 pm). All applicants have to appear for the same with valid Bank Challan which will act as admit cards. There is no provision for admission to pure general courses / B. Ed courses. Direct admission can be sought to Persian (Honours) course. Candidates are to contact the department after submitting the form. Self financing career oriented courses in PUBLIC RELATIONS and ADVERTISING and MULTIMEDIA and ANIMATION are also available for students pursuing graduate courses under Calcutta University. A self financing computer-training course is also held in collaboration with WEBEL Informatics Ltd. (under Dept. of Information Technology, Govt. of West Bengal) and a Spanish Language Training Programme in collaboration with WTCC School of Trade and Communication, Kolkata. Candidates seeking readmission( only applicable for present students who could not qualify in the College Test/ Part I exam) to 1st year B.A. / B.Sc. Honours, 2017 are requested to consult their respective departments and office on 1.6.2017 and 2.6.2017. They will have to give an application to the Principal forwarded by the Head of the Department of their respective subjects and then collect their application form from the office at a cost of Rs. 50/- and submit it to the respective department on the same day. Jammu and Kashmir candidates are requested to contact the college admission committee. The admission of these candidates will be conducted on the same date as the fresh candidates (the dates of which will be announced later).
