Accessing the Student Course Tip Sheet Websites The Trainer Dashboard and the student course can be accessed by going to the Medication Administration website, https://medsadmin.tiu11.org. Follow the path of Resources > Certified Trainers. If preferred, the addresses are: Trainer Dashboard: https://matrainer.tiu11.org/ Student Course: http://mastudent.tiu11.org/ The username and password for the Trainer Dashboard and Student Course are the same as your username and password for the Medication Administration website. Trainer Dashboard The Trainer Dashboard is courses and classes are created and students are enrolled. Log in to the Trainer Dashboard and then follow the desired steps. Create a Course Click on [+ New Course]. Select the desired Master course and enter a name for the course that makes sense. Click [Create Course]. Tip: Remember, you will not be able to edit or delete the course name once it is created. 1

Create a Class Classes are a way to organize student records within a course. At least one class must be created for a course. Click on the desired course on the Trainer Dashboard. Click [+ New Class]. Enter a name for the class or it can be left to the default of today s date. Enter a description of the class, if desired. Click [Create Class]. Tip: Remember, you will not be able to edit or delete the class name once it is created. Enroll Students Click on the desired course on the Trainer Dashboard. Click on the desired class. Click [+ Enroll New Student]. Enter the username, email addresses, first name and last name for the student. Click [Create User]. Be sure to provide the username and password to the student. Tips: The username must be unique Use a valid email address so student s can reset their passwords 2

Download Usernames Click on the desired course on the Trainer Dashboard. Click on the desired class. Click the Download link by the [+ Enroll New Student] button. The Excel file will open which will contain the usernames of the students enrolled in that class. Student Self-Enrollment Create the course and class. Provide the enrollment key for the class to the student(s). Students register by clicking on [Register] button or Register link on the Trainer Dashboard. Students enter the enrollment key and click [Find Class]. Student click [+Enroll New Student]. Students complete profile information and click [Create User]. Students are then taken to the student course log in page. 3

Student Course The student course is where students complete the online portions of the Medication Administration Course. Trainers can view student course and test grades in the student course. Log in to the student course and then follow the desired steps. Course Progress Scroll down until you see the Administration box on the left of the screen. Click on the arrow by Reports. Click on Activity Completion. Quiz and Test Scores Scroll down until you see the Administration box on the left of the screen. Click on the Grades link. 4

View Quiz Responses Scroll down until you see the desired quiz and click on it. Scroll down until you see the names of students who have completed the quiz. Under the desired student s name, click on the Review Attempt link. Enter Classroom Presentation or Remediation Completion Scroll down until you see Classroom Presentation or Remediation activity and click on it. Click on View/Grade All Submissions. Click Quick Grading checkbox if it is not already checked. Enter a score of 100 for the correct student(s). Enter any desired comments. Click [Save all quick grading changes]. 5

Multiple Choice Remediation Report Log in to the Trainer Dashboard. Click on the desired course. Click on the student s name. Tip: Remember, unenrolling a user will delete all of their course information. In the student course, click on the desired course. Scroll down until you see the Administration box on the left of the screen. Click on the arrow by Users under Course Administration. Click on Enrolled Users. Find the person s name you would like to unenroll and click on the X all the way on the right by the name. 6

Enroll a Student Enroll a student in the same class or a different class. Step 1: Enroll Student in Course In the student course, click on the desired course. Scroll down until you see the Administration box on the left of the screen. Click on the arrow by Users under Course Administration. Click on Enrolled Users. Click on [Enrol users]. Click [Enrol] by the student s name. Select a role of Student. Click [Finish enrolling users]. Step 2: Enroll student in Class Under the Administration box, click on Users. Click on Groups. Select the class to add the student to. Click [Add/remove users]. Click on the student s name to add to the class. Click [Add]. 7
