2013 EFMD Annual Conference EFMD Accreditation Portfolio Breakout Session Tuesday, 11 June 2013, 10:30 11:45 Chris Greensted Senior Advisor, Quality Services, EFMD

Quality Services Portfolio (EQUIS, EPAS, EDAF)! EFMD offers a range of development systems to aid business schools improve their quality:! Through accreditation of whole schools (EQUIS) or! Through accreditation of individual programmes (EPAS) or! Through evaluation and guidance by mentoring (EDAF)! The three systems are linked in order to help schools move from one stage to another. The EPAS and EDAF systems include, if required, a gap analysis to enable schools to assess what improvements are required to achieve the next stage of accreditation.

Quality!Improvement! There are about 13 000 BS in the world and this number is likely to rise but less than 10 % hold accreditation and thus receive a quality improvement service.! Existing accreditation systems include, for example! EFMD: EQUIS, EPAS, CEL! AACSB! AMBA! But EFMD can contribute more widely to global welfare by helping to improve Business Schools (wherever they be) and hence society through EFMD Deans across Frontiers (EDAF).
