BOLOGNA PROCESS OFFICIAL SEMINAR JOINT PROGRAMMES AND STUDENT MOBILITY Chelyabinsk Russia 16-17 March 2009 The Bologna Seminar on JOINT PROGRAMMES AND STUDENT MOBILITY will be held in Chelyabinsk, Russia, March 16 and 17, 2009. This seminar will be hosted by the Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation and the National Training Foundation The main objective of Russian educational policy today is to integrate into world education and develop export of educational services. One of the mechanisms to meet this objective is launching joint programmes and projects together with foreign and international organizations. The preliminary themes to be discussed at the Bologna Seminar are: 1. Achievement of educational processes compatibility between universities. 2. European and Russian universities experience in developing and improving joint educational programmes. 3. Learning results recognition in universities-partners. 4. Creating conditions for extending mobility, including teachers language competence Further in this letter you will get information on: Registration Procedure Accommodation and arrival List of participants Programme 1

Registration Procedure We would like to enable as many participants to participate in the Bologna Process as possible. Therefore a specific procedure for registration is used. First of all, it is free of charge. The following criteria will be applied in the selection of participants: Ensuring a balanced participation of all interested countries, organisations and other parties. Up to 2 delegates per country or organisation will have guarantee of acceptance, on the condition of registering by March 10, 2009. If you wish to participate in the Bologna seminar, please send your registration form at safronova@susu.ac.ru. On receiving your e-mail you ll be sent confirmation of your participation immediately. If you do not receive confirmation in two days, please inform Conference Secretariat about it at safronova@susu.ac.ru. Indicate report title, time necessary to make a report, section name or plenary session. The participants will be given a brochure with reports as a result of the seminar. Accommodation and arrival You can get to the place of the seminar by any regular flight from Europe to Ekaterinburg. You can also fly first to Moscow, and then from Moscow to Chelyabinsk. We organize transfer both from Ekaterinburg and Chelyabinsk to the hotel. To be able to meet you, please, send information about your arrival at safronova@susu.ac.ru. As soon as you we get your reply, we will send you an email, confirming the fact of meeting you at the airport of arrival. We also organize transfer to the airport of departure. All speakers accommodation expenses are paid by the receiving part. However, all other participants are expected to meet their own travel and accommodation costs. We offer accommodation in 4* hotels, standard room. You can get information on accommodation at sites: 1.
