How to develop high performing teams and high performing leaders One day practical workshop Tuesday, 29 November 2016 9am 4pm Leading Teams Office J95, 21 Hall Street, Port Melbourne

The Leading Teams Model At Leading Teams we focus on dynamics, that is, the way people interact and the behaviours we model, reward and challenge. We believe a high performing team has the following three fundamentals: 1. A clear, understood and accepted common purpose 2. A behavioural framework that has been developed by and agreed to by the team 3. A process for the ongoing review of our team and ourselves against the behavioural framework Performance Improvement Program Page 2 of 6

This one day introductory program examines: How to create a high performing team What is effective leadership? The link between mechanics and dynamics The impact of behaviour on performance The importance of clarifying expectations within the team The need for honest performance reviews The importance of strong professional relationships The importance of dealing with conflict productively Program Outcomes As a result of this one day workshop participants will: Understand the importance of having ownership of organisational values and behaviours Understand the importance of being part of a team, and contributing to others success Understand that everyone has responsibility for modelling, rewarding and challenging the right behaviours Take greater responsibility for personal behaviour and performance Understand the importance of leadership (as opposed to management) in a team-based structure Understand the link between an ongoing review process and continuous improvement Giving and receiving feedback. This is what some of them have said: Alastair Clarkson Senior Coach, Hawthorn Football Club We have worked closely with Leading Teams for a number of years, and reengaged their services again in 2013. We see great benefit in having an external facilitator assisting the leadership structures at the club and importantly, to help us keep focus on the things we think are vital for success. No doubt we are better at leadership with Leading Teams involved. Setting those behaviours and standards at the beginning of the season no doubt helped us to win the 2013 and 2014 premierships. Kay Rundle CEO, City of Port Phillip Leading Teams are experts in helping organisations develop a strong, sustainable culture that enables you to perform at your best. They have helped us engage and empower our staff to drive new standards of behaviour and performance connected to our values. I highly recommend Leading Teams if you are serious about developing your people and teams. Andrew O Brien CEO, Monyx (Monash University) Leading Teams' direct, no-nonsense approach shows how honesty, learning and leadership are interconnected and how they apply to you whether you're leading a company with thousands of employees, a sporting team, or a family. Paul Roos Former Coach, Sydney Swans Football Club The culture at the Swans is one we are all proud of and one we have worked very hard to achieve...it would not have been achieved without Leading Teams direction and guidance.
