This can be accomplished only when the emphasis is placed upon teaching through school activities. Interscholastic activities can be justified only when this is its primary philosophy and purpose. We would hope that all of our students, spectators, coaches, and players would remember that good sportsmanship should include the following areas of concern. 1. Do not boo officials, coaches, or players. 2. Noisemakers are prohibited, and megaphones are to be used by cheerleaders only and only to direct instructions to the pep squad and supporters. 3. Consumption of alcoholic beverages does not have a place in high school athletics whether a participant or spectator. 4. Continuous standing by the spectators is allowed in accordance to MSHSAA guidelines and in specified sections. 5. Repetitive or derogatory chants and cheers are not allowed. 6. Please direct your cheers at your team and not at the opposing team or fans. We are not attempting to list all of the ways to show good sportsmanship. We are requesting, however, your thoughtful consideration for all involved as you attend our activities. **Unacceptable or unsportsman-like conduct may result in your removal from the premises.
