Application fee is a one-time non-refundable payment fee, which is inclusive of assessment and trial period as follow: a. Kindergarten 1P to K2: 3 trial days in regular classes b. Kindergarten 3: 1 day for written assessment and 2 days in the regular classes c. Primary & Secondary: 1 day for written assessment day and 1 day in the regular classes If the assessment results indicate that your child cannot be enrolled at this stage, he/she is entitled to a second assessment without further charges, provided the same child is assessed within one year from the date of the first assessment. However, if your child passes the assessment but there is no immediate vacancy, he/she will be placed on the waiting list and enrolled as soon as possible without the need to pay another application fees. 2. The School Development fee is a one-time non-refundable fee, which is used for the further development of the school. It is a part of the enrolment fees and to be collected once a place is reserved and confirmed. It cannot be used to offset any outstanding balances. If you choose to give up the enrolment place, the school development fees will also not be refunded. 3. Library deposit is refundable and levied on all students and will be returned upon a one-month advance notification of withdrawal from school, subject to clearance of all outstanding charges. If less than one month notice is given, the deposit is automatically forfeited. Deposit not claimed within one year will be forfeited too. 4. Tuition fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable. School will also not refund or prorate any part of the tuition fees for any activities or meals that are unused but included in the tuition fees. Tuition fees include snack and lunch, annual educational or community service camp and graduation fees. a. All fees must be paid by the date indicated on the school calendar. b. All fees are payable in Thai baht currency. c. Tuition fees are paid on a termly basis. d. Fees paid are non-refundable and not transferable. e. Fees are still applicable should the child be absent due to illnesses such as mumps measles, chicken pox, HFM or any other sickness deem serious by the school. If the school is closed due to any acts of God, situation not within the school s control or for the safety of the students, there will be no replacement for the closure of day/s. f. Tuition fees** for Sec 4 and JC are collected within two terms, which is in Term 1 & 2 only. g. The school is mindful of the financial pressure on families and therefore we aim to keep the tuition fee to a minimum increase of 5% per school year.
5. Cambridge Exam Fees are collected before the start of Sec 3, term 1 according to the confirmed subject. No Sec 3 textbooks will be issued without the advance payment of the Cambridge Exam fees. All other external fees related to external examinations will be collected according to the school internal registration schedule set by the school. All external exams fees such as Cambridge (IGCSE/AS/A), Edexcel, HSK and BMAT fees are not inclusive in the tuition fees. 6. Intensive language/programme fees are provided for students who fall below the school s language requirements. If the school requires your child to do IL language/programme, then inclusion in the IL programme and fees are compulsory. The head of department for the respective subjects will decide on the programme needed, which can be either basic or intermediate level. 7. Textbooks, materials and resources will be issued at different stages between Secondary 1 4 and JC1 2. These fees cannot be pro-rated. From SY 2018-2019, all textbooks and material fees will be added into the tuition fees. The amount will be shared equally into three terms. Parents who have paid in advance for the tuition fees before SY 2018-2019 will have to continue to pay the textbook materials and resources separately. 8. Discounts Advance yearly payment; 5% discount on tuition fees only Siblings: 5% discount on tuition fees for second (2 nd ) child onwards. 9. Methods of payment Payment can be made in any of the following ways: a. By cash b. By cheque made payable to S.B.I.E. Co., Ltd. and crossed to a/c payee only c. By bank transfer to S.B.I.E. Co., Ltd., Account No: 017-604-6666 to Krung Thai Bank on Sukhumvit 64 branch. Please fax a copy of the payment slip to the Accounting Department with the name of the student written clearly. d. By VISA or MASTER credit card e. By bill payment at Krung Thai bank 10. Overdue payments All overdue payments will be subjected to a late administration fee of 3% per month of the total invoice amount from the due date. Student with overdue fees will not be permitted to participate in school activities. 11. Co- curricular activities (CCA) and Enrichment activities These are optional and at times recommended. An administrative charge of 500 baht per student per activity per term and additional fees are charged to cover the expenses. 12. School Deposit and Notification of Withdrawal An official withdrawal should be submitted to the Registrar no later than the due date of the payment for the next term. If the withdrawal notice is given later than the due date of the payment for next term, the school deposit will automatically be forfeited and a late withdrawal fee of baht 25,000 will be levied per child. The school deposit will be used to clear any outstanding charges and the balance not claimed within one year will automatically be forfeited. 13. School s official transcript No official transcript and report book will be issued unless all the outstanding bills are settled and a proper notification of withdrawal is submitted to school. 14. Transfer The school reserves the right to transfer students, combine or dissolve classes. Should the child be assessed not ready or suitable to study, the school has the right to have parents withdraw the child from the school.
15. School Uniform All school and PE attire can be purchased at the school shop which is open from Monday to Friday at 7.00 am to 4.00 pm. All students are required to wear proper attire and running shoes. School shoes should be easily fastened with a non-slip sole and offer supporting to the foot when student is running during playtime and PE. Shoes colour: *Kindergarten any colour *Primary black *Secondary white or black The school attire includes: a. School uniform b. PE/ House Colour T-shirts and shorts/pants c. School sweater d. Swimming costume e. TKD (from Sec 3 up) 16. Insurance It is a student accident insurance and has limited coverage for activities authorized by and under the supervision of school authorities. We strongly recommended that each student obtain his/her own adequate medical insurance and policy. Special Note: a. All Secondary Students must bring their own personal laptops (not net book) to school. Details will be given upon enrolment. b. All Primary Students must bring their own tablets (not net book) to school for class usage from SY 2017-2018. c. As per Thai MOE regulation, all Thai Nationals are required to take Thai as their mother tongue and an IGCSE examination subject. d. All Secondary students are required to join one main CCA that is designated by the school. Sports CCA which are optional. e. Sports Clinic is offered in connection with the Duke of Edinburgh s award with additional charges billed separately. f. Anglo is open to all students of all nationalities who demonstrate the ability to benefit from the challenging curriculum and programme offered by the school. These students should not fall into the category of special needs as Anglo does not have the facilities and staff to support them. g. Fees and information stated above are subjected to changes from time to time. h. PSG fees are collected on behalf of the Parents Support Group, which will be used by the Executive Committee members of PSG to support events, activities and projects. i. Korean language is offered at primary level only. j. Japanese language is offered from K3 to Primary 6 only.
