The block schedule will be used for all events and will indicate exactly what block of time your athletes will compete. A detailed block schedule and team sheets will be posted for all participating gyms no later than April 15, 2016. Level 8 - Elite, competitors will begin on Friday. Competition for levels 1-9 will be on Saturday. Levels 1-7 will continue on Sunday. FUNDS: PAYABLE TO: Entry fees must be in the form of a money order or certified check. PURPOSE: The Sr. Elite and Jr. Elite competitions will name Regional Champions in all disciplines. This competition will prepare our athletes for competition at national and international events. The Jr. Olympic Regional Championships (Levels 1-10) will name Regional Champions in age groups for all disciplines (synchronized trampoline, Levels 9 & 10). This will also serve as the second and final opportunity to qualify for the Stars & Stripes Championships and USA Gymnastics Championships held in the Summer of 2016. 3

ENTRY INFO: Levels 1-Sr. Elite (per competitor) Flat Fee for one or all four events $125.00 All entries must be done on line. Go to www.usag-region3.org for specific instructions and to enter. In order to keep our website secure you must request a link for the entry form. It may take up to 48 hours to receive your link so please request early. ENTRY Postmarked or in the regional office by March 11, 2016 DEADLINE: This will insure your team is included in the program. Entries received after the deadline will be doubled. NO Exceptions. Entries will not be processed without payment, therefore, phone and fax entries will not be accepted. ABSOLUTELY NO entries two weeks prior to the competition. ENTRIES: INCOMPLETE OR INCORRECT ENTRIES: ELIGIBLE ATHLETES RULES: COACHES: COMPETITION EQUIPMENT: VOLUNTEERS: Only entries submitted online will be accepted. Go to usag-region3.org for specific instructions on how to register your team and athletes on the official website. READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE REGISTERING IN ORDER TO AVOID PROBLEMS. A request must be made for the link to the registration form After March 11, 2016 information may be changed or corrected for a charge of $10 per correction. If an age or gender is listed incorrectly there will be $10 per event charge.$10 per event charge. All athletes registered with USA Gymnastics as an athlete member are eligible to compete at the Regional Championships. Please note that all non-u.s. citizens must declare their citizenship prior to competition. USA Gymnastics Trampoline and Tumbling rules from the current 2016 Code of Points along with all errata pages (posted on USAGYM.org) will be used. Please note that there will be no finals. All age groups are based on the age of the competitor on December 31, 2016. Only coaches who have, U100, 2016 T210 and current USA Gymnastics Pro or Jr. Pro membership will be issued credentials. Note: Please read the NEW dress code in the code of points. This dress code for coaches and judges will be strictly enforced. The T201 hands on spotting course will be held on Friday morning from 8:00 9:00 am in order to accommodate those without current certification. 4 4 X 4 Eurotramp trampolines with Eurotramp beds and springs 2 6 mm Eurotramp Double-mini trampolines 2 Ross Athletics Rod Tumbling floors Equipment managed and supplied by Ross Athletics. We need your help with volunteers for this competition. We greatly appreciate all your help. This meet would not be possible without the help of volunteers. Thank you in advance for your assistance. All volunteers will be given a hand stamp that will allow them access into the competition for that day. Only professional members are allowed to spot. Coaches you must be prepared to help with this task. If you would like to bring additional coaches in order to help with this let me know. 4

ATHLETE BIOS: JUDGES: HOSPITALITY: Each team who has Youth, Jr. Elite, Open or Sr. Elite competitors will need to fill out the athlete bio form on the region 3 website and attach a current head shot photograph. We will include all elite athletes in our program and will also have packets available for any press that might need information. Only judges who have taken the 2016 T210, and have a current USA Gymnastics Pro or Jr. Pro membership, will be considered for assignments. Ratings and availability will determine contracts for the Region 3 Championships. Judges must have previously judged at a minimum of 3 sanctioned competitions prior to Regional Championships. Judging request must be submitted to Billie Willis no later than March 11, 2016. A link to the judges request for assignment form will be sent to each judge who is currently registered within each state and to all teams. Meals for coaches and judges will be provided at the Hilton across the street from the venue. Meal tickets will be provided in your registration packet when you arrive. There will be no snacks or drinks provided between meals, so please be sure you find time to eat during the specified times. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. 5

Coaches Check List Please read all information carefully. Fill in your gym entry deadline date on Parent information letter prior to copying. Make Parent information letter available, for all athletes Level 1 - Sr. Elite in your gym. Make regional program ad information available, for each athlete in your gym. Online entry deadline and hard copy postmarked no later than March 11, 2016. (All late entries will be doubled) Sign up your team parents and coaches for volunteer duty. Go to Region 3 website and fill out Athlete Bio forms for all Jr. and Sr. competitors. Judges must respond to the request for assignment using the Google doc provided by Billie Willis, March 11, 2016.
