(UBD Stage 1) Argumentation/Evaluation Essay After reading the speech "I Have a Dream" and two additional texts, write an essay in which you discuss the characteristics and qualities of a freedom and evaluate the relationship between freedom and responsibility. Support your position with evidence from the texts. D8: Include citations. Standards (UBD Stages 1 & 2) LAFS.910.L.1.1: Demonstrate command of the conventions of Standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking. a. Use parallel structure. b. Use various types of phrases (noun, verb, adjectival, adverbial, participial, prepositional, absolute) and clauses (independent, dependent; noun, relative, adverbial) to convey specific meanings and add variety and interest to writing.
