PowerSchool for Parents See live attendance, assignments, scores, grades and more, right from teachers grade books. PowerSchool provides real-time access to: Attendance Grades Assignments & Scores Standards Progress School Announcements Teacher Comments Grade Point Average You can also use PowerSchool to register to receive email alerts for grades, attendance, assignments and more. Download the PowerSchool for Parents app Double Click the app & login using your PowerSchool credentials Icon: Tapping on this Icon, available on the PowerSchool for Students app pages, will bring up the as shown here Clicking the arrow associated with each individual student will open each student s navigation menu.

Live Feed PowerSchool mobile provides a Live Feed of various items for each student. Use the Display settings screen to set the information that displays on the Live Feed. The Live Feed appears whenever you first open the PowerSchool for Parents app. When more than one student displays on this screen, data is sorted by date, then by announcements, and grouped by student (oldest to youngest). On the Live Feed screen, tap an item listed to view the Details screen. Tap the Back button to return to the Live Feed screen. Tap Display to edit the control switches for each item you want to display on the Live Feed and the Family Calendar. Tap Done when finished editing. To change the Date range to a different week during the term, tap the date range button at the bottom of the screen. Use the date picker to select a different week to display. Tap Done to display the selected date. To return to the current date, tap Today. Tap the arrows to navigate through the weeks of the current term.

Family Calendar Tapping Family Calendar will open the Family Calendar, a calendar displaying all your students class information. Use the arrows to navigate to a different month. A dot on a date indicates an item is associated with that date. Tap the date to view the item/s. Tap the item/s to view the details. Tap Back to return to the Family Calendar Screen. Tapping the Display at the top of the Calendar will bring up the control switch for each item you want displayed (as described in the Live Feed section previously). You can toggle items ON or OFF. *Dots on date/s indicate item/s associated with that date. Current Date

Announcements Tapping All Announcements will allow you to view ALL current bulletins for all your students. Flick or drag to scroll through all the announcements. Tapping Announcements from 1 of your individual student s menu, will display the Announcements for that student.

Student Summaries Clicking on Student Summaries will display your students, with their picture and Attendance information. Clicking on the student s photo will display the photo menu. Tapping the arrow associated with each student, will display their Icon shortcuts menu.

Student s Menu Clicking the arrow associated with each individual student will open each student s navigation menu.

Student s Menu-Calendar Tapping Calendar will open the Calendar associated with the Student you selected. Use the arrows to navigate to a different month. A dot on a date indicates an item is associated with that date. Tap the date to view the item/s. Tap the item/s to view the details. Tap Back to return to the Family Calendar Screen. Tapping the Display at the top of the Calendar will bring up the control switch for each item you want displayed (as described in the Live Feed section previously). You can toggle items ON or OFF. Student s Menu-Courses Tap Courses from the Student s menu or Shortcut icons. Tap Display to filter the courses by terms or groups. Tap Done when you are finished selecting the sort settings. Tap any course to view the Course Details screen. Use flick or drag to scroll through the course information, including description, grades, attendance and assignments. Tap Back to return to the Courses section. Display

Student s Menu-Assignments Choose Assignments from either the Student s Menu or from the Student s Shortcut Icons. Flick or Drag to scroll through all the assignments. Tap an Assignment to view the Assignment Details screen. Tap Back to return to the Assignments screen. Tap Display to filter the assignments by terms or groups. Tap Done when you are finished selecting the sort settings. Display

Student s Menu-Grades Tap Grades from either the Student s Menu or Icon Screen. Flick or drag to scroll throught all final grades. Tap Final Grades to view traditional Final Grades. Tap a Grade to view the Grade Details screen. Tap the Course Name to view the Teacher Details screen. Tap the Teacher s email to send an email to the teacher. Tap Back to return to the main grades screen. Tap an Assignment to view the Assignment Details screen. Tap Back to return to the main grades screen. On the Final Grades screen, tap Display to filter the grades by terms or groups. Tap Done when you are finished selecting the sort settings. Display Tap teacher s name to send an email to the teacher.

Student s Menu-Attendance Tap Attendance on the Live Feed or. Tap Display to filter Attendance by groups and/or terms. Tap Done when you are finished selecting the sort settings. Tap Attendance Code Legend to view the Attendance Codes screen. Tap Done to return to the Attendance screen. Display

Student s Menu-Teachers Choose the Teachers menu item from the Student s Menu or the Shortcut icons. Flick or drag to scroll through all the teacher listings. Tap a Teacher to open the Teacher Details screen. Tap the email address to send an email to the teacher. Tap a Course name to view the Course Details screen. Tap to send an email to Teacher

Student s Menu- Balances Waterford doesn t use the Balance feature at this time Student s Menu- Announcements Choose Announcements from either the or Live Feed icons to view all current bulletins. Flick or drag to scroll through all the announcements.

Student s Menu-Email Alerts Tapping on the Email Alerts from either the Student s menu or the Shortcuts menu will bring up the interface for Email Alerts. You can toggle the On or Off, the desired EAlerts. Click Save when finished. To choose a different Frequency of Messages Sent, tap the gray bar. It will bring up the Frequency interface, allowing you to select your desired frequency. Tap the Back button to return. To Add/Remove Email address, click the appropriate gray bar. This will allow you to edit the Email Distribution List. Click Save when finished.

Help Center Tap the Help Center to find answers to all your questions. Log Out Use this to log out & end your session.
