INTERNATIONAL STUDENT & SCHOLAR STATISTICS ANNUAL REPORT, FALL 2017 Prepared by Elizabeth Saumsiegle, Associate Director International Student & Scholar Services Questions? Email esaumsiegle@babson.edu

Letter from the Director International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) is committed to providing culturally sensitive and comprehensive advisory services of the highest quality to Babson s international students and scholars on F-1/J-1 visas, and their families. We educate and advise on ever-changing immigration regulations and provide outreach and support when events locally and globally impact our international population. As we do so, we are mindful of each student s unique experiences and complex identity (including their nationality, heritage, faith, gender, sexual orientation and socio-economic status). With regard to our continuing efforts toward inclusion, it is worth noting that the female/male gender binary is used throughout this report because of current limitations within federal immigration forms/systems. In all other contexts and interactions, the ISSS team respects a student s declared gender identity. As a snapshot in time, the ISSS annual report illustrates Babson s increasing international population but doesn t capture all of the students/scholars with whom we work in a given year. Examples include those enrolled in Summer, Executive Education and Babson Global programs. I hope you find the report useful and I welcome comments and questions. It continues to be a privilege to work so closely with our international population and with colleagues across campus who also strive to maintain Babson s standing as the #1 school for international students (Forbes ranking, 2017) Sincerely, Jamie Kendrioski Director, International Services & Multicultural Education Meet the ISSS Team Jamie Kendrioski Director Liz Saumsiegle Associate Director Nikki Nicosia Senior Advisor Tim Booker Program Coordinator *Other = Evening MBA, Blended MBA, MSA, CAM & CAA Fall 2017 - Page 2
