EOC mission Our mission is to offer support to our members, so they can use to the maximum the funding and development opportunities offered by the European Union 4
EOC organisation Co-funded d in 2007 by a consortium of organisations With the initiative of the University of Cyprus Management Board of 15 members President of the Management Board is the Vice- Rector of International Affairs, Finance and Administration of the University of Cyprus 5

Representation, visibility and position promotion activities Represents its member organisations in conferences, seminars and other events in Brussels, and organises events and information days Creates the preconditions for the promotion of their positions in decision making groups at European level Ensures the increased promotion and representation of its members at European Institutions, regional offices and European networks. 10

Budget: 311,594 WISHES Erasmus Mundus programme: set up a user-driven high quality multi-profession web-based information platform enabling higher education institutions and employment bodies to attract worldwide international students. EOC participation in projects Some examples 2012-2014 projects CYPRUS EYES ARE OPEN Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme: The EOC is the Intermediary Organisation of Cyprus. Our role is to provide practical and financial assistance to newly established or would-be entrepreneurs spending time abroad (between 1 and 6 months) with an experienced SME entrepreneur.budget: 178.401 FameLab Cyprus The EOC organised the Cyprus national talent competition to find the best new talent in science communication Cyprus finalist won the first prize at the FameLab International Final 2011 and the second prize in 2012. LE-MATH Learning Mathematics through new communication factors (2012 2014) 20
