a) Registration Fee Class Registration and Refund Policy (1) An initial registration fee of $50 for all new students and $20 fee for each returning student/sibling of an existing student is due at submission of application. (2) The registration fee is nonrefundable. b) Refund Policy: U Music Education Foundation makes every effort to keep student costs at a minimum, and to keep its refund policy reasonable. It is the policy of U Music to refund tuition if notified of a class change or withdrawal within an appropriate period of time. (1) If notification of withdrawal is given more than 7 days before the first day of class, full tuition, minus a $50 processing fee, will be refunded. (2) If notification of withdrawal is given within 7 days before the first day of class, there is a $100 processing fee. (3) No refunds will be available after the 1 st day (12:00 AM) of class. (4) If the class is canceled, full tuition (including registration fee) will be refunded. (5) Class Credit cannot rollover to the next semester or school year. (6) A $20 fee will be charged for bounced checks. c) Class Switch: To switch classes during the semester, a $10 handling fee is charged. (1) I.e. if a student must permanently switch from Level 1 Friday to Level 1 Saturday. d) Class Rules and Regulations (1) No other children but enrolled students are permitted in the classroom. (2) No food or drinks in the classroom. (3) No photography or videotaping is permitted within the classrooms, so as not to infringe upon the privacy of others. U Music documents its events, and will often record performers. By registering for our classes, you expressly give consent for your child to be recorded by U Music. (4) No trash should be left behind. (5) Anyone observing the class must be quiet. Any discussions should be done outside the classroom, or after class. (6) Mallets and drumsticks are not toys. Sword fighting or any other inappropriate usage of equipment is not allowed. (7) Students that damage equipment are responsible for the full cost of repair or replacement. (8) U Music documents its events and will often record performers. Signing this form indicates you understand this and give your consent for you child to be recorded by U Music. U music reserves the right to drop, without refund, any students who refuse to follow the Class Rules and Regulations.
