The School Vision An Outstanding Centre for Learning The award winning John Lawrence Sixth Form Centre opened in 2009 and has been the home to our Post 16 students ever since. The building provides an inclusive environment for our students to study, communicate and support one another. The large common room area, complete with a coffee bar, is the hub of sixth form daily life; it is a place for discussing ideas with friends and enjoying the more relaxed and responsible approach to learning Post 16 study brings. There are breakout rooms that provide areas for quiet study, IT suites with access to full Microsoft software packages, a university prospectus library and meeting rooms for presentations and group work. All students can access the school library at any time during the day, for research or study, and our impressive sports facilities allow students to partake in a number of team and fitness activities. In addition, media, art and photography students have a dedicated space with a full complement of Apple Mac computers and Adobe Creative software.
