In 1998 the French government founded an organization called the EduFrance Agency to promote. In 2007, EduFrance became CampusFrance. CampusFrance is dedicated to promoting international mobility for students, academics and researchers.

Services - promotional events throughout the world Objectives : enhance academic mobility and cooperations between HEIs The CampusFrance programme of events abroad (education fairs, forums, thematic visits, university tours), which draw on average 150,000 visitors per year, is conceived in close consultation with the supervising authorities and the higher education institutions along with their official conferences. CampusFrance organizes education fairs in conjunction with major international events (cultural exchange programmes, universal exhibitions, commemorations). CampusFrance has experimented a number of new concepts, such as thematic university tours, specialized networking sessions, workshops on academic innovation and the promotion of doctoral programmes.
Services - activities with the European Union Over the past years, CampusFrance has developed activities in the field of European exchanges: CampusFrance has been responding to calls for tender launched by the European Commission. CampusFrance is coordinator for projects and participates to activities, mainly in the field of higher education promotion, information and cooperation. CampusFrance has carried out numerous studies and analyses. CampusFrance has developed exchanges with its European counterparts (DAAD, British Council, Nuffic, etc.).
