Community Input Meetings October 17, 2016 Morrow High School (6:00PM) Schools included are Mount Zion High, Forest Park High, Morrow High School, Babb Middle School, Forest Park Middle School, and Rex Mill Middle School. October 18, 2016 North Clayton High School (6:00PM) Schools included are Drew High, North Clayton High, Jonesboro Middle School, Riverdale Middle School, and Sequoyah Middle School. October 21, 2016 King Elementary School (6:00PM) Schools included are Northcutt Elementary, Oliver Elementary, Riverdale Elementary, and King Elementary. October 27, 2016 Performing Arts Center (6:00PM) All schools affected. 5

Decision Making Methodology Review school capacity, growth projections, enrollment data and enrollment trends. Establish a transparent set of criteria for enrollment balancing in Phase I. Identify schools for enrollment balancing in Phase I. Complete enrollment balancing awareness survey(s). Complete enrollment balancing analysis for Phase I. Develop recommendations for enrollment balancing for Phase I. Obtain input on the recommendations from the Board of Education. Obtain input on the recommendations from the community. Revise recommendations for Phase I based upon input and established criteria. Prepare final recommendations for Phase I and submit to the BOE for approval. 6

Phase I Criteria Identify schools that are over or under capacity. Identify existing zones that do not follow natural boundaries. Minimize the percentage of capacity when possible. Decrease travel times when possible. 7

PHASE I The goal of Phase I is to balance enrollment for, but not limited to, Morrow High School, King Elementary School, North Clayton High School and their surrounding or feeder schools. 8
