Changes to A levels This year will see significant changes to the organisation of some A Level courses in England with a number of these subjects at Hazel Grove Sixth Form with all moving towards linear assessment. This means that students who begin these subjects in 2017 will do a stand alone A level courses taking 2 years Some 1 year AS courses may be offered depending on popularity. A Level courses will run based on popularity of the course

Extended Projects Level 3 Extended Projects support students with the transition to higher education or into the world of work. They provide opportunities for the development of critical, reflective, problemsolving and independent learning skills through the planning, research and evaluation of a selfselected project.
