Rules for Jeans Days and Spirit Jeans Days Students may wear jeans or khakis (nothing too tight; no leggings) No torn, ripped or frayed jeans (no skin showing through) Girls may wear capri pants if they are at least mid-calf length K-8 th grade may not wear shorts on any jeans days On spirit jeans days, students must wear an SLS spirit shirt OR a red, white, black, or gray shirt (field day shirts from previous years are fine) We announce jeans days and spirit jeans days during morning announcements No backless, strapless or sleeveless tops Flip-flop shoes are not permitted SLS athletic uniform jerseys may be worn for pep rally or spirit days If the jersey is sleeveless a t-shirt must be worn under it Students who do not participate in the out of uniform day will be expected to have their complete school uniform on throughout the school day. PE shirts can be worn with jeans, but PE shorts must be worn with the PE shirt.

SLS Open House Sunday, October 29 1pm-2pm Please join us for our annual Open House! Parents, students, and prospective parents are invited to attend this event. Teachers and students look forward to showing you their classrooms and their work. This year, we will have Open House Scavenger Hunt. Pick up a card in the school office and complete 5 challenges to earn a homework pass for each student in your family! Home & School is hosting Trunk-or- Treat in the school parking lot immediately following Open House, so be sure to park in the church parking lot if you are not hosting a trunk. The Spirit of Christmas St. Louis and St. Vincent de Paul team up for a 4 th year to bring Christmas to families in need. The generosity of our school and church over the last three years has been amazing. We have helped provide Christmas for 43 families in their time of need.
