APM Project Management Qualification (APMP) Based on the 6th Edition Body of Knowledge. Welcome to the Parallel Learning System for the APM PROJECT MANAGEMENT QUALIFICATION (APMP). You should download a copy of the 6th Edition APM Project Management Qualification (APMP) syllabus, sample exam questions and the candidate guidance notes that can be found at: http://www.apm.org.uk/apmp Preparation to be successful when taking the APM Project Management Qualification (APMP) examination is essential. There is a correlation between the amount of prework people do and their success. This guidance is provided to help you plan and work though the various Parallel materials, which contain the following: a) The Parallel APM Project Management Qualification (APMP) Study Guide the purpose of this is to bring all of the essential material together, structured in a logical and understandable way. You will receive this in the post shortly. b) The Parallel e-learning suite this is a mechanism to approach the same material as in the guide from a different perspective. It is accessed from the Parallel website and streamed to your PC or laptop. Full access instructions are in Appendix A. c) The APMP Study Group website is intended to allow you to discuss your issues and review ample question and answers. Full access instructions are given in Appendix B. d) The Parallel podcasts these are available on the Parallel website or can be downloaded from itunes to a mobile device such as a phone or to a laptop. Listening to all of them will take a while so dip into them when you feel you need a little more information or a different angle on a specific topic. Details of how to access the podcasts are in Appendix C. e) The workshop will consolidate all of the learning to hone your project management skills and prepare you thoroughly for the exam.
Welcome to Parallel Project Training Appendix A - Instructions to login & gain access to our e-learning resources Step 1) Open your Internet browser and go to the Parallel Project Training website at: http://www.parallelprojecttraining.com Step 2) At the top right of the website, click the "e-learning Portal" link. Please note: We advise that you disable any pop-up blocker you have installed in your browser as this stops the e-learning loading. Step 3) On the e-learning Portal page, enter your username and password into the boxes and click the "Log in" button. Please note: If you have forgotten your login details, you can click the Forgot Username? or Forgot Password? links beneath the login form. Step 4) Once logged in, click the "e-learning Portal" link at the top right of the website.
Step 5) Select your course from the list e.g. APMP 6th Edition. Step 6) From here you can select the e-learning files you need. They stream direct from the website. The podcasts are available for download here if you right click and select save link as you can download a local copy for burning to CD. Please note: Before you start check that you have the latest versions of Java and Flash installed on you PC. If not then contact your local PC support team.
Appendix B Accessing & using the APM Project Management Qualification (APMP) Study Group Step 1) Go to http://www.parallelprojecttraining.com If you are not already logged into the website, please login via the Login link at the top of the website using the username and password provided on your registration email. Step 2) Access the APMP Study Group by going to Distance Learning > APMP Study Group link. Step 3) Click the Join Group link towards the top of the page to join the group. Once you have joined the group, you can view and post APM Project Management Qualification (APMP) answers in the discussion part of the study group. Viewing group discussions To see the group discussions, go to the APMP Study Group page as detailed above, and click the Discussions link. You will then see the group discussions. Contributing to a discussion To respond to a discussion in the APMP Study Group, enter your comments in the Replies section and click Add Comment.
How to create a discussion To create a new discussion from the Discussion page, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the Create Discussion link.

The best place to get them is from the e-learning portal because they are sorted into the order they occur in the study guide.
