Bachelor of Laws COURSE : BLAW COLLEGE STUDY MODE DURATION FEE APPLICATION METHOD TIMETABLE COURSE REQUIREMENTS Law and Justice Full-time or Part-time 4 Years - Full-time or part-time equivalent Commonwealth Supported Places CSP Fee information available from /fees VTAC vtac.edu.au (One VTAC code for each stream) /timetables To attain the Bachelor of Laws students will be required to complete 384 credit points (equivalent to 32 units) consisting of: 240 credit points (equivalent to 20 units) of Core Law studies 144 credit points (equivalent to 12 units) of Elective studies (from the lists below). This can include up to 48 credit points (equivalent of 4 units) non Law electives or one of the Global Challenge minors. FURTHER INFORMATION Unit (subject) and course information is available from the University course search site at http://www./courses/search Note: Students are required to enroll in semester 1 AND semester 2 for 2017 and are not permitted to enroll in more than 48 credit points (equivalent to 4 units) in each semester as a full-time load. You will have the opportunity to amend your semester 2 enrollment after semester 1 has concluded. Core/Elective Core (a unit that must be completed) & Elective (you have some choice in what you select) Prerequisites A number of units within the degree have "prerequisites". These prerequisites must be met before enrolment in the unit is permitted. Generally these prerequisites require the successful completion of a unit or units taken at an earlier stage in the course. Students should pay particular attention to these prerequisite requirements as failure to meet these can seriously hinder progression through the course.
