Degree International Visiting Non-Degree Readmit Audit Degree Student A degree student who wishes to seek formal admission to Bellarmine to pursue a Bachelor s on a full or part-time basis. The following items are required: A non-refundable $25 application fee (payable to Bellarmine University). For students who have earned more than 60 credit hours, an official transcript from each college/university attended is required. For students who have earned between 24 and 60 credit hours, an official high school transcript or GED score and an official transcript from each college/university attended is required. For students who have earned fewer than 24 credit hours Ì of college course work: x An official high school transcript or GED score and an official transcript from each college or university attended is required. x Official ACT or SAT scores are required of applicants who have been out of high school five years or less. x Statement of Purpose (200 words, typed) outlining academic and professional goals. For students for whom English is their second language, a TOEFL, IELTS or MELAB score is required. International/Non-citizen In addition to the requirements for a degree seeking student, International/non-citizen students must also submit the following: Two letters of recommendation from an instructor. Visiting Student A visiting student is a student who is formally admitted and enrolled at another college or university and wishes to take classes at Bellarmine. The following items are required: For students taking upper division courses, an unofficial transcript is required to determine if pre-requisite courses have been met. Non-Degree Student A non-degree student is a student who does not seek formal admission to Bellarmine for a degree, but who would like to enroll for classes. A student may register for one semester of classes on a part-time basis without having a complete file. To register for a second term, the student must follow the application procedures for a degree student as listed previously (additional $25 fee and official transcript(s) are not required). For students taking upper division courses, an unofficial transcript is required to determine if pre-requisite courses have been met. For students for whom English is their second language, a TOEFL, IELTS or MELAB score is required. A minimum total score of 80 on the internet-based TOEFL (reading, listening, writing & speaking), 6 on the IELTS and 78 on the MELAB is required. Readmit Student A readmit student is a student who has previously attended Bellarmine. The following items are required: Official copies of transcripts from all schools attended since last admission to Bellarmine. Audit Student An audit student is a student who wishes to enroll in class at Bellarmine but does not earn college credit. Audit students pay a third of tuition and are not responsible for class assignments or tests.
