Primary responsibilities include partnering with the other members of the research and evaluation team in the completion of a variety of research and evaluation projects. This includes qualitative and quantitative approaches in which a variety of statistical and survey programs are utilized including SPSS, Microsoft Excel, and Qualtrics. Additional responsibilities include organizing and preparing literature reviews, writing evaluation and research reports, and participating in fieldwork throughout the State of Kansas. Under the guidance of a faculty research mentor, completed one quantitative research project exploring the impact of self-esteem on men s body image issues and eating disorders behaviors and two quantitative research projects regarding gay men and HIV/AIDS risk behaviors. Community Outreach - Provided assistance to children and young adults ages 5-21 with developmental, physical, or intellectual disabilities by nurturing intellectual, socio-emotional, and physical development to clients. 2011 Pre-College Advisor - Wichita State University s Upward Bound Math Science Program, Wichita, Kansas Provided a broad assessment of educational, professional and personal development, and cultural activities to high school junior and seniors, and first generation college freshman.
