Young students from all over the world will have the possibility to enjoy to the fullest the experience of living in the "Eternal City" of Rome. Not only will students be able to take Italian classes in our prestigious headquarters in the Vatican area, but also to have a full cultural experience exploring Rome under supervision of our experienced group-leaders. 1
Italian Courses The Intensive Standard Italian Course is the most requested class by Italian learning students at Studioitalia because it combines an appropriate amount of lessons (20 hours per week) with a relaxing and cosy atmosphere. The four hours of lessons a day ensure consistant contact with the Italian language and create a strong relationship between Italian teachers and students. The teaching method is based on the Communicative Approach and it focuses on developing the Italian communication Italian skills of the students, of course the study of grammar is always complimentary. Students learn and practice Italian language with the objective of using it in real situations, which relate to their every-day life while they're on this Italian course in Rome. Communicative Approach Our teaching method places great emphasis on the student's expectations, needs, and personal learning styles. We provide a unique learning enviroment that genuinely helps the students to achieve their personal goals in studying the Italian Language and Culture. A general Communicative Approach is combined with the newest learning techniques and teaching strategies, which allows the teacher to customise the learning path and program it for every individual learner. Our Italian teachers work with learners of diverse needs. By listening to the student's requests and guiding them through every aspect and stage of the learning process, our highly qualified professionals do their best, and more, to offer al the students a chance to learn and improve in every single lesson. Accomodation Students will be housed in a secure and high-quality enviroment, within a short walking-distance (residence) or 20- minute trip by public transport (host-family). Take a quick look to our properties All of our accommodations have been carefully selcted and periodically inspectioned by Studioitalia's staff. Residence Our residence is our most highly suggested option becuase of its vicinity to the school and the possibility to have a nightsupervision for the students. The accommodation is situated in the Vatican City - Prati district in Rome, 500 metres from Castel Sant'Angelo. Every room at this guest-house is fully fornished wiht air conditioned, fridge and TV. All rooms have an adjoined private bathroom with a bath or shower and bidet, free toiletries and a provided hair dryer. The residence also offers free WiFi throughout the entire property. Family Accomodation (Host Family) The opportunity to live with an Italian family offers the student a better understanding of the Italian culture outside of the classroom context and to gain a deeper knowdelegde of how the language is used in everyday-life situations. All of our families are selected based on quality and reliability. They have been working with Studioitalia for years and our office are in constant contact with all of the hosts. Restaurant The restaurant is situated in the school surroundings, only 5 minutes by foot. The diner offers a huge variaety of food that will garantee a satisfacory nutritional balance. 2
Social Activities Our Weekly program is structure din order to give the students an authentic opportunity to discover and appreciate the true artistical beauty of Rome. In consideration of the fact that our students will be young, our planned activites allow students to learn and discover the history of city while enjoying every step of the process. Our Group Leaders know well that the weather is not at our disposal and they are always ready to adapt in order to maximize learning and fun every week; our first objective is the health and well-being of our students.
