Then come to the ISB Library next Tuesday, 24 May at 3.00pm Our external Japanese teacher, Mrs Krähe, will give a short introduction to the lessons she will be offering very soon. Ms Janine Smith MEP Teacher - Vocals Ms Smith was born and raised in Brooklyn/New York. She began taking piano and voice lessons at the age of 10 and developed a deep desire to explore music. She was addicted to musicals such as Grease, Guys and Dolls, Oklahoma and The Sound of Music, but also enjoyed watching ballet and dance companies. Though battling with shyness and insecurities, a new teacher at her high school encouraged her to keep pushing and never give up and, through this, she landed her first job at high school as music director of their school play Grease! - an unforgettable experience for her. Ms Smith is not only a professional singer, keyboard player, choir director and entertainer, but also a passionate mother. She gives voice lessons at the ISB each Wednesday from 3.00pm and is currently working on some new projects. In her spare time, she enjoys walking by the sea, dancing and preparing vegetarian meals.
