DESES-3 Team. What offers the EVS project Pool of opportunities, my name is Europe, for the volunteer? Based on the experience in all our years of development of various projects of European mobility in the Youth in Action program and the new program Erasmus +, our association has detected, based on the ongoing processes of internal assessment, design, structures and new lines to follow, the need to go a step further in generating experiential learning opportunities following the methods of non-formal education to our young partners and the local community of Medina del Campo for to give the opportunity to the youth of our region and the European volunteers to share their experiences and European culture. We firmly believe that every young person with a broad desire to be integrally formed as active and participatory citizen integrated into the European community, must live an EVS project based on an experience of non-formal learning that seeks to provide knowledge, skills, and attitudes for person involved in this action program and that result in the acquisition and development of skills, where participants must be aware of the learning process in which they are immersed. For this, it is essential to learn to learn, chasing one hand help the volunteers to reflect on what they want and can learn during their EVS project and on the other hand, offer learning tools to achieve your goals learning inside and outside the EVS. Furthermore, after consolidating for more than 10 years development plan and local citizen participation "Medina 21" benchmark nationally and internationally recognized, of our population Medina del Campo, we needed for our locality through the acceptance of EVS project, because it's hard work to show to citizens this concept of a wider Europe in small populations that are not equal to a big city We offer to the participant involved in this project, one ambitious volunteer municipal plan that consists of activities to develop in five organizations working in different areas related to the population of Medina of the field as: - The environment and protection of abused and neglected animals. - Assistance to groups with special needs and abilities - Employment, entrepreneurship and promotion opportunities. - Culture, promotion, dissemination and openness to new countries of our product par excellence, the white wine. - Comprehensive education of children based leisure activities and free time. - The promotion of European mobility programs like Erasmus +, EVS and learning opportunity in non-formal education.
