1 Progression chart for Frith Manor and Building Learning Power 20.3.16 Year Group Ideas /Practice so far All classes Nursery Puppets, displays. Circle time games with puppets whole year approach : Puppets and a puppet station with captions and pictures and books that link to BLP. Terminology made simple. Names of the animals are used with slogans. Newsletter makes links with parents. Dice games with 2 sets of laminated pictures of animals BLP songs. Encouraging a High Five rewards with vocabulary in action during session. Reception BLP language and character puppets being used in lessons and developed further with displays. Language linked to characteristics of effective learning. Circle time games with BLP characters and speech bubbles. Team Ants will be introduced in the Autumn term, followed by Tough Tortoise in the Spring term. Smart Squirrel and Super Spider will be developed in the Summer term. BLP will be linked to the
