ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA F ADMISSIONS 1. Two years Pre University examination or equivalent as recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as principal subjects of study. 2. Pre-degree course from recognized university considered as equivalent by RGUHS( Two years after ten years of Schooling) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as principal subjects of study 3. Any equivalent examination recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore for the above purpose with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as principal subjects of study. Or 4. The vocational higher secondary education course conducted by vocational Higher Secondary Eduaction, Government of Kerala with five subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in additional to vocational subjects conducted is considered equivalent to plus TWO examinations of Government of Karnataka Pre University Course. 5. Candidates with two years diploma from a recognized Government Board in a subject for which the candidate desires to enroll, in the respective Allied Health course shall have passed plus 12(10+2) with physics, Chemistry and Biology as principal subjects or candidates with 3 years diploma from a recognized Government Board in a subject for which the candidate desires to enroll, in the respective Allied Health Sciences course should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology as principal subjects during the tenure of the course. - 2 - www.jayadevacardiology.com
DURATION OF COURSE: The duration of the B.Sc. Allied Health Sciences course is three years and Six months including compulsory rotation internship after passing final year degree examination. APPLICATION F ADMISSION: Candidates are advised to go through the Institute advertisement carefully before sending their application to the Institute. Application for selection shall be made on the prescribed form and sent to the Director, Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences & Research, Bangalore. The prospectus with application form can be obtained from the Institute or can be downloaded from www.jayadevacardiology.com APPLICATION FEE: Rupees 500/- can be paid by cash or by Demand Draft in favour of Director, Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences & Research, Bangalore from any scheduled bank. All particulars desired in the application form should be entered carefully and legibly and sent in a cover super scribed Application for UG course (B.Sc Allied Health Science Course) etc., and sent to the Director, Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences & Research, Bangalore in person or by post preferably by registered post acknowledge due, so as to reach the Institute on or before 06/07/2013 up to 4.30 P.M. The application fee paid will not be refundable in any case. Applications, which are incomplete, shall not be considered. The Institute will not take any responsibility for any delay in the receipt or loss of application in postal transit. General instruction: 1. Applications received after the due date will not be considered. 2. All particulars in the application form must be written carefully and legibly. 3. The decision of the Director of the Institute shall be final in the matter of selection of candidates for admission to the various courses and no appeal shall be entertained on the subject. 4. 5. Each candidate selected for admission shall have to pay the fees/dues within the prescribed period, failing which his/her admission shall be cancelled and the next candidate on the waiting list shall be admitted in the order of merit. 6. No individual intimation to unselected candidate will be sent and no correspondence on the subject will be entertained. 7. The list of selected candidates for various courses will be displayed on the notice board on the next working day of the interview. 8. The rules are subjected to change in accordance with the decision of the Institute from time to time. 9. Selected candidates must join the respective course within the stipulated time. The seats of the candidates who fail to join the respective course within the date stipulated & time mentioned in the letter of selection shall automatically stand cancelled and such seats shall be given to the candidate in the waiting list in the order of merit. 10. No separate intimation will be given to the candidate for the interview 11. All eligible candidates can attend the interview. 12. Candidates who have passed any qualifying examination other than two years PUC of Karnataka, that candidate should obtain eligibility certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka and enclose the same along with the application, without eligibility certificate application will be rejected. 13. The Candidates of other states will be considered under general merit category. 14. Candidates should submit separate application forms for each course.
