Professional Academic Background Assistant Professor with a permanent civil servant work contract with no time limit, since July 2012, after the PhD thesis on Information Systems, in the field of Information Systems Integrated Business Management Applications, entitled Advantages, Limitations and Solutions when using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems A case study in the hospitality industry. She integrates the scientific area of Information Systems and Information Technology of School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism of the Algarve University. Equivalent to Assistant Professor with a temporary work contract with Algarve University since 2003 according to n. 3 of art.º 8º Dec.-Law n. 185/81 of July 1st, based on curricula evaluation. First triennium professor on full time regime, with exclusivity, since 28th January 2002 according to public Notice n. 506/2001, under Dec. Law 185/81, of July 1st. Advisor for InovAlgarve, project, 2005, responsible for developing an operational plan to integrate all application systems and technology running at InfraQuinta Empresa de Infraestruturas da Quinta do Lago, EM. 3

3. Teaching 3.1. Teaching activities As a teacher in the area of IS/IT, under related subjects of IS/IT of the School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism of the Algarve University, she lectured several curricular units and produced several support materials for those units. The Curricular units are spread by different teaching levels, from CET (Cursos Especializados Tecnológicos), TeSP (Técnico Superior Profissional), BSc and MSc levels. Some units are lectured in English. Since 2000, she has been responsible for the units Information Technology I and Information Technology for Tourism for Marketing, Hotel Management and Tourism courses. 3.2. Projects In the 1998-2008 period, she was advisor and arguer of several year-end projects, under a unit called Project. 3.3. Professional internships During teaching activities, she supervised several internships, following the students on their jobs, in different parts of the country. 3.4.
