SCHOOL FEE AGREEMENT Arnhem International School Primary PRIMARY SCHOOL STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS Please take the time to read all the clauses in this document, and ensure you fully understand them as it is a legally enforceable contract between you and the Arnhem International School. ANNUAL SCHOOL FEES The Arnhem International School is a partially subsidized Dutch International School. Legally AIS Secondary is the international department of Lorentz Lyceum Arnhem, and AIS Primary shares the license of the dr. Aletta Jacobsschool (AJS), though they are classed as separate schools. AIS receives the subsidies from the Dutch government only by virtue of its licensing agreements with these two educational foundations, both of which run national local schools in addition to the international departments of AIS. As the subsidies received from the Dutch government for AIS represent only a part of the costs needed to run the international departments, AIS charges school fees. The fees are payable in return for education provided at The Arnhem International School as specified in the annual School Guide. The AIS is a Dutch Government school with an International Primary School section, and receives its basic financial support from the Dutch Government. The annual tuition fee is to cover the costs of nonsubsidised school expenses. The annual school fee covers extra costs such as: Additional class teachers to enable favourable teacher, pupil ratio ( average 15 per class) Additional class rooms Support staff : - Learning Support-, English as an Additional Language-, Dutch language teachers - Librarians & Administrative staff. Professional development in English for staff School trips, educational tours and the annual school camp. Daily lunch supervision at school. Membership of the International Baccalaureate Organisation and other international educational institutions. ICT Multimedia equipment, library and most educational materials sourced mainly from UK. By placing your child with the Arnhem International School (Primary) and signing agreement terms+ conditions, you automatically accept responsibility for payment of the school fees. Failure in payment will result in the transfer of the child/children concerned to the Dutch primary school Dr. Aletta Jacobsschool within 'Openbaar' Primary Education Arnhem. The school fee per child for an academic year is currently 4175,-. An invoice will be sent within one month of your child s starting date. The parents of children who enter later in the year will be charged pro rata, according to the number of months their children will attend. The same rule applies to those children who leave during the course of the school year.

An authorized official of the company should complete and sign the form. Please return this form to the school office as soon as possible, preferably within one week of your child's arrival at school.
