Shaping the future of international education CIS Student Recruitment Tour Colombia 11-20 April 2018 Panama City, Panama Medellin, Colombia Barranquilla, Colombia Bogota, Colombia Cali, Colombia

ABOUT THE TOUR This is the 14th iteration of the CIS Colombia Tour. The tour continues in a strong tradition of connecting well-prepared Colombian students with excellent university opportunities. As in years past, this tour will add Panama City (a dollar economy and strong market for international education and study abroad). While in Colombia, the tour will focus on the primary markets of the country (Bogota, Medellin, Barranquilla and Cali). Participants can expect participation in a combination of institution building activities such as school visits, counsellor networking opportunities, and a service project. QUICK FACTS FROM 2017 TOUR 15 Schools Visited 2,635 Students Seen What makes CIS tours unique? CIS tours have stood the test of time. CIS is a non-profit organisation that has been sponsoring recruitment tours for nearly 40 years. Our tour leaders are experienced admissions professionals working at CIS member universities. They understand your needs and goals. CIS tours are targeted. Tour events include invited students from high quality CIS member schools and outstanding national schools with student populations preparing to study abroad. CIS tours offer inclusive pricing. There are no surprise bills at the end of the tour. The tours are assisted by highly experienced travel professionals to manage all the logistics. CIS tours are truly educational. During the tour, participants lead workshops to help students, parents, counsellors, and teachers learn more about admission-related topics. Daily interactions with admissions professionals from other CIS member institutions allow you to learn from the others, share ideas and build your network. The tour provided an opportunity to learn more about the culture in Colombia. I now have more knowledge and understanding of the country and culture which will help when talking to both applicants and enrolled students from Colombia. I can now engage with students on a more personal level. -Timothy Cushing, Senior Assistant Director of Admission, Wheaton College
